Pastor Scott helps us meditate on the second phrase of the Serenity Prayer: “Courage to change the things I can.” He will help us face our own fears, as well contemplate some of Joseph’s from the Christmas story.

Pastor Scott spends time examining the elements of the Serenity Prayer, starting with the first part that reads: "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change." Pastor Scott invites us to consider Mary’s story and her choices, from the perspective of this prayer.

God sent the minor prophet, Malachi, to the nation of Israel to set them straight on the road with God. But was that a message only for those people, at that time? Nicole Unice preaches on the timeless words of Malachi, and how his message then is a message that's relevant to us today.

Pastor Terence preaches from the book of the minor prophet, Haggai, and shows us that God gave him a mission to pass on to Israel's leaders: rebuild the Temple. Easy enough, right? But like many of us, knowing what God has told us to do and accomplishing it can be two very different things.

Pastor Scott guides us through the book of the minor prophet, Zephaniah, whose name means “the Lord hides.” In this context, it means the Lord "hides" us from trouble and protects us from the damaging winds of the storms of life IF we learn to trust and obey Him. Are we trusting in God, or other things, to "hide" us?

Do you look around this world and shake your head, or your fist, dismayed at what you see happening and wonder where God is, and what He's doing in the midst of so much sin and injustice? If so, then you're in good company with the minor prophet, Habakkuk. Pastor Terence guides us through the writings of this "philosopher prophet."

Nicole Unice brings us the message from Nahum, a minor prophet particularly concerned about God's love of justice and his promise to carry it out on earth.

Pastor Scott guides us through Obadiah, the shortest book in the Bible. Although the book focuses primarily on Edom and God's judgment on them, let's take a look at our own lives and see how we are not so different from Edom.

Pastor Scott preaches from the book of Amos, a farmer who was called to become a prophet. Through this unlikely preacher, God delivered his message of coming judgment and justice for the people of Judah and Israel. We'll consider how God might be calling us to look at the issues of holiness and justice that we have been overlooking in our own lives.

Rev. Terence Gray reminds us that God isn't the kind of father who rejects his children, he is the Father that pursues his children even when we reject him.

Pastor Scott helps to guide us through Micah's writings, and its themes of justice, mercy and humility.

In this message Pastor Scott examines the second recorded question from God in the Bible, to Cain, shortly before he murders his brother. So many of us have been anxious and angry, and we need to learn from God's word how to manage that anger and put it firmly in God's hands.

This week, Pastor Scott examines the first recorded question that God asked humanity: "Where are you?" He suggests two spiritual disciplines to help you live in oneness with God and with each other as He intended.

What are we fighting for? During this sermon, Pastor Scott McKee will help us answer that question, reinforcing the dream of God's Kingdom on earth, as it is in heaven, and helping us to see the hand of God at work in and around us.

Jon Haden closes out our series on worship by examining how we can live our lives intentionally, by bringing ourselves back to God's beauty throughout the day. We are to treasure God above all else, with every part of our lives.
