Pastor Terence reminds us that God doesn't love us any more or any less based on our willingness to let go of the things of this life. God knows that it's hard, but He sure does delight in seeing his children become more like Christ.

Pastor Terence shows us that sometimes when we add to the original of something, we take away value. This can happen with our faith too. We don’t understand how good the good news is and at times we feel the need to add to the gospel. Pastor Terence assures us that we don't need to add anything. When Jesus said "it is finished," He meant it.

Pastor Scott concludes this sermon series by exploring where true power lies. He shows us that while it seemed like power was birthed in Rome, it turns out that it was birthed in Bethlehem. It turns out this upside-down kingdom has a whole different power base, and a whole different scoring system.

Pastor Scott points out that judging people based on externals has not served the church well and does not model the heart of God. When a church pushes past cultural barriers and traditions and reaches out to people on the other side, it demonstrates to the world that God is alive and active.

Nicole continues our series, asking what makes a well-lived life, and reviews the story of Jesus in the book of Acts where Jesus gives us a new definition of death and life.

Pastor Terence continues our new series by sharing that if you have ever changed anything, you know with change comes resistance. Sometimes that resistance is from others, but often it is from ourselves. Our rigid and inflexible areas must be softened so that we can more willingly follow the Holy Spirit’s leading.
