Walking in Truth

It can sound scary to read about the end times in Daniel and Revelation. In all the frustration of seeing such great sin in all of the nations all over the world, it can seem pretty bleak. But that’s why, as Pastor Johnny’s going to point out today, we have nothing to fear as Christians, because we have our eternity secure.

The nation whose God is The God of The Bible is a nation that never has to fear what comes against it. And God sees who is and isn’t living how His Word says to live. Today, Pastor Johnny is going to show you that although the Israelites had backslid in their faith, God always was faithful to them when they were living right.

Other countries of the world will always be at war with Israel. As God’s chosen nation, they could have conflict with one nation or another at any time, and it’s likely. Today, Pastor Johnny’s going to show you that no matter who it is, no one can stand against a nation that has God on its side, protecting it.

God’s gift of salvation isn’t just for Israel. It’s not good news for just one race or age or height or anything else. It’s for everyone, and it’s news that should be shared with as many people as possible. As you’ll see today with Pastor Johnny, though times change and cultures shift, God’s Word is still always relevant and true.

God showed Himself faithful to Daniel when he needed God’s strength. But Daniel was already living according to God’s Word, and his heart had to be in the right place. Today, Pastor Johnny’s going to remind you that it’s the same as it is for us today. You can’t expect God to move in you if you haven’t committed to living for Him.

You won’t get to see God working through you if you don’t make sure that He gets all the glory for what you have. He wants to work in you in mighty ways, but your heart has to be ready. As Pastor Johnny’s going to show you today, God is looking for someone whose heart is seeking Him, and who's following His Word.

God wants to see you faithfully following His Word. It’s only once you’ve surrendered all parts of your life over to Him that He’ll fill you with His Holy Spirit and move in you. Today, Pastor Johnny’s going to remind you that living a lifestyle that’s honoring to God is the best way to see Him move in you when you need it.

We can read all over the Scriptures about how important prayer is. Specifically in Daniel, we see, that it’s important to pray, but it’s also important to pray for GOD’S will and GOD’S timing! In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will encourage you to do just that! Pray for the will of your Father to be done over your own will!

We’ve heard people say, “I just don’t believe in prayer. My prayers are never answered, anyway.” Many prayers are answered, just not the way we have asked. Today, Pastor Johnny encourages us to come to God with great humility when praying. Not to just ask God for ‘things,’ but to humbly seek His presence.

We have all heard someone reply, “I’ll pray for you about that,” not really knowing if they really do pray. What's prayer to you? Prayer should be as natural to the believer as taking our next breath. Today, Pastor Johnny explains how vital prayer should be in our daily lives. It isn’t just asking God, it’s fellowship with Him.
