Walking in Truth

If you’re preaching God’s word, you will face affliction. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny says that we are all evangelists who need to share the gospel. When you share the gospel, remember that you must preach straight from the word of God. When you do, you’ll find that people will be convicted and hearts will be changed.

Today, Pastor Johnny says that when a pastor preaches the word of God, they will convict the sinner's heart. If you hear scripture and are offended, God is trying to convict you of something. You should listen and let God teach you something that you might’ve not known before. Take time and listen to God today!

When you hear a pastor preach, you have to make sure they’re teaching from scripture. Today, Pastor Johnny says that a pastor’s call is to preach the word of God and nothing else. Scripture is the only thing that can pierce the hearts of the non-believer. Therefore, double-check that your pastor is preaching scripture.

How do we live a life that’s glorifying and honoring God? Today, Pastor Johnny says it’s simple, we must know the scriptures. When you know the Bible, you’ll grow in discernment of the good and bad of the world. Knowing scripture gives us fuel when we’re attacked to continue life strong and to fight temptation well.

Scripture calls us to disciple others. Today, Pastor Johnny says we must disciple ourselves before disciplining others. This means you need to know the scriptures well. Knowing the Bible allows you to disciple people in a way that’s glorifying and edifying to God. It’ll allow you to discern what’s right and what’s wrong in God’s eyes.

There will be people who seem to be believers but teach wrong doctrine and things that aren’t Godly. Today, Pastor Johnny says that we must beware of false teachers. They’ll trick those who don’t know the word of God well. You must know the Bible well enough so that you can discern what’s true and what’s false.

Today, Pastor Johnny says that we will suffer persecution as believers. That means that we must be on guard for the gospel. With our lives, we must live in a way that is ready for any battle that may come. When Satan attacks, we should remain strong in the truths of scripture and rooted in the one who saves! 

Paul was under a lot of persecution, yet he stayed strong. Today, Pastor Johnny says that the Christian life is a battleground. No matter what you must stay strong in Christ, knowing that He’s in control. Next time you’re in a trial, stand firm in the truth that God has a plan for you. Through that thought, you’ll find freedom in Him.

Do you have good examples of believers in your church? Today, Pastor Johnny says that if you don’t you must go to a new church. In order for us to be good leaders we must have leaders to follow. If you are a follower of Christ, you are a leader. God wants you to lead in every aspect of your life with Him as your guide.

Today, Pastor Johnny warns us of false teachers. How can you tell if someone is a false teacher? It’s if they reject the truth of the Gospel and correction. Many false teachers will rise up when the end times approach. You must know the word of God so well that you can have discernment in what is truth and what isn’t.

Pastor Johnny reminds us today that the last days are the last days and we can’t do anything about that. If you’re a believer, you can look with anticipation knowing that Jesus is coming to restore the Earth. Trust in God today and live in the hope of the Gospel, that Christ is going to restore everything to His glory.

Today Pastor Johnny asks the believers if they’re walking in darkness. If you are, you must repent. Without repentance, there’s no redemption through Christ. When you repent, you’re acknowledging that you can’t do this on your own. God is the only one who can save, He wants you to run to Him and be saved!

Today, Pastor Johnny reminds us that we don’t need to be perfect to be saved during the end times. God makes you and me holy and righteous by His grace. Be reminded that when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and repent of your sins, you’re saved. Live in the freedom Christ has given you today!

Today, Pastor Johnny clarifies the differences between Christ’s return and the rapture. To some, this may scare them but if you’re a believer in Christ you’re surely going to be saved. Therefore you can look with anticipation knowing that the pains of this world will be gone and God will restore everything for His glory.

Today, Pastor Johnny says that we must be ready for persecution in the end times because it is going to happen. When it happens, you must stand firm in the truth of the gospel. Jesus has already redeemed you and wants you to remember that. No lie the devil throws can take you down because you’re saved.

If we believe in Christ and live a life faithful to Him, we will be free from the judgment of God. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny warns us that judgment may be coming soon. Because we don’t know when He’s going to come back, we must be prepared. This means you must prep your hearts and be ready!

There are a lot of things that can catch our attention. Today, Pastor Johnny reminds us that there’s only one who sits on the throne of lies. His name is Satan and he wants your attention so he can take you away from God’s love. God wants you to flee from the lies of the devil and run to Him because He gives eternal life.

Today, pastor Johnny says that if you know the God of the Bible and are living in unholiness you need to stop. God has called you to holiness and wants you to live in that. If you’re a non-believer your call is to believe that Jesus Christ died and rose again. Trust in God today, and He will give you freedom from sin!

People are easily deceived into believing lies. Today, Pastor Johnny says Paul is relaying that the gospel is simple. The gospel is that Jesus died on the cross for you and me. When you believe that truth, you are saved. God wants you to have a relationship with Him, trust in His redeeming power today!

Today, Pastor Johnny makes it clear that in the church we should hear the word of the Lord only. If you’re at a church and they aren’t teaching the word of God, you’ve got to find a new church. The church is meant to build the believer up. If you’re not hearing scripture weekly, your church may be building you up poorly.

You have a choice to make. You can either glorify God and put your faith in Him, or you can choose to reject Him and be ashamed of Him. The choice is completely up to you, but your choice will have consequences. Today, Pastor Johnny is going to encourage you to make the smart choice and to choose Jesus as your savior. 

What battle are you fighting today? Maybe you’re in an argument with your spouse, or you’ve just lost a job. Today, Pastor Johnny is going to remind you that those battles are meaningless compared to the spiritual battle that is going on. The enemy is going to distract you but be encouraged because Jesus has already won. 

Have you ever looked at someone’s life and thought, how can they be so happy when they have so much going wrong? In today’s message, Pastor Johnny is going to encourage you that if you find your strength in God, nothing can stop you from being content in every circumstance. You must learn to lean on His strength.

You need a Christ-centered mentor in your life and you need to be a mentor. Who do you go to when you have questions about the Bible, Jesus, and your faith? Today, Pastor Johnny is going to remind you that it’s so important to have someone that you can be discipled under. As well as finding someone who you can shepherd. 

Does a murderer automatically get sent to hell? Does a person who gives millions of dollars to charity get sent to heaven? In today’s message, Pastor Johnny is going to remind you that you aren’t saved by your works. Forgiven people are the ones who get to enter heaven, and you can only be forgiven through Jesus.
