Walking in Truth

We're clean before God only when we accept the sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf. Oh, how wonderful that Jesus frees us from Hell! 

What a picture Pastor Johnny paints today! The Sacrificial Lamb, Jesus, passes over the blood flowing from all the lambs sacrificed that Passover night. The new system replaces the old sacrificial system. We don't have to kill any animals to please God. All we must do is accept Jesus as our sacrifice. Will you do that today? 

Did you know that? Jesus became our mercy seat as He died on the Cross. Pastor Johnny reminds us today that mercy is not getting what we deserve. We've all fallen short of God's glory. Certainly, we deserve God's wrath. Instead, if we accept salvation through Jesus, He takes what we deserve. Let's thank Him today!

Do you know how to get right with God? Pastor Johnny, today, tells us that all the good that we do won’t make us right in God's eyes. Good morals don't outweigh our evil. Our good deeds will not get us into Heaven. Only knowing and trusting Jesus will make us right with God. Accept His salvation today!

Many folks want a Jesus that will fix their lives and then let them do whatever they wish. But the Bible depicts Jesus as our Lord. He's worthy of our whole life. Do you see your workplace as an opportunity for God to shine His love and truth through you? Let yourself be used by God there.

If you are a believer, that should bring you great comfort. God has every minute detail held in His hands, including the very breath in your lungs, and He will take care of you.

The things of this world will try to change our minds, but if you have the foundation of scripture engrained in your head, you’ll have the strength to fight anything that goes against God.
