This time VRETT's mix is more of an instrumental housy one, with deeper synthesizer filled tunes ending with a classical analog outtro. My advice is to set your volume much higher because the recording was recorded at lower volume. Just listen and maybe it will make you a happier chap during this ungoing lockdown. ENJOY ! VRETT

Late afternoon shipment of vinyl arrived today, the last day of 2020. Just succeeded to record a mix of fresh tunes just before the ending of an historical year to lift you up for a fresh start tonight. Deep housey tunes with a flavor of groove, disco and 808 bass lines. Happy New Year! Enjoy

It takes a little while till you have bought and gathered again some new vinyl gems that you love and mixed in a new set that is to your satisfaction. This time I start with a lovely low tempo re-edit recorded with a lot of depth to go over in old school Detroit mode combined with some funky tunes and Chicago vibes. I did blend in one of my favorite wave records, a re-edit of Prefab Sprout's song...

A new vinyl set recorded Vrett and digitalised to mp3 later while digging the crates of my extensive private vinyl collection travelling back in this set until the seventies filled up with some new housie tunes I loved to hear at the moment. A musical tour letting you hear a minuscule part of the tunes picked up while dj-ing in at least 4 decades and still going.
