As we draw closer to Christmas, our Advent journey leads us to week 3 and our focus on the joy found in Jesus. We are told in Luke 2:10 that the coming of Jesus was good news of great joy for ALL people. As Christ followers, we have received joy, but so many of us lose sight of it easily. This Sunday, we will look at what it means to fight for joy and express it with our lives!

On Sunday, we will slow down to talk about God's invitation to each of us to look outside of our boxes and recognize the ways He desires to move through us in the lives of others! We will look at this from the story of Jesus sending out the 72 in Luke 10 and in light of the stories of God's movement in the lives of the mission team from California in October.

On Sunday, we will look at Romans 8:14-16 as we continue our conversation about praying in the Spirit. Our hope is to build a right expectation of who God is as a perfect Father in relationship with his children. As we do this, our belief is that our prayer lives will expand to a level we've never experienced before.

This is the last week of Life Together, our small group study of Ephesians 4-6. We will look at Paul's call to the church to always be praying in the Spirit, focusing on what that means, how it applies to our lives, and how it is the perfect defense against the work of the enemy.

On Sunday, we will keep journeying through's Paul's message in Ephesians 6 regarding how we prepare ourselves for the spiritual battle we face every day. Our conversation will include answering questions like the following. What is the spiritual armor? How do we "put it on"? What is God's role in this battle versus our role? We are nearing the end of our fall study and look forward to having you t...
