This week we welcomed Stephen Backhouse from Tent Theology, as he helped us think about what it felt like to be with Jesus and be part of his Kingdom. Drawing on Mark chapter 5, Stephen explored the the dramatic statements Jesus made by who he chose to be associated with, and asks us if we are prepared to show our allegiance to Him too.

This week Phil shared from the story of Mary & Martha, in Luke 10, inviting us to sit at the feet of Jesus.

Last Sunday we were honoured to have Paul and Joy Blundell from Alive Church Lincoln speak to us. The Blundell’s look at how culture changes to meet issues that arise in society, often overcompensating and creating more problems. They explore the Church are called to stand and say we are the people to lead, and what that outworking looks like.

As we move into the next phase of Project Home, Phil and Sarah share on how we can sow healthily and so that others will grow. This next season is filled with potential, and Phil and Sarah share some of the exciting prospects that it holds and how we can move together as a family over the coming months.

On Easter Sunday Santino shares the story of the resurrection and all that Jesus did for us on the cross, and the incredible significance it has on our lives and our world.

This week Abi finished off our series Significant Voices, exploring the women who have shaped history. She shared on the often-overlooked story Mary and some of the things we can learn from the life of this amazing woman.

This week Emma looked the small but significant role of Shiphrah and Puah in Exodus 1, who stood before the Pharaoh and defied his orders. This story teaches us what it means fear God, and Emma unpacks some of the things that stand in our way of becoming a people who fear God.

This week Lizete takes us into our second week of Significant Voices. She explores Luke Chapter 8 and the story of Jairus and the woman with the issue of blood. These stories show us how Jesus invites us to live in boldness and greatness.

We start off our Significant Voices series by looking at Deborah, whose story is found in Judges 4-5. We see through her life how one woman standing up made a difference for a whole nation, with an influence that lasted a generation.
