Paul to Timothy: "Guard the truth that leads to life."

Adhering to incorruptible truth, by sincere faith results in changed lives evident in our behavior and church unity. When we get distracted by what is false or wander from the goals of the faith, the result becomes apparent in our hearts, behavior, and community and detracts from the Glory of God.

God loves a community of cheerful givers; believers seeking to outdo one another in love, resulting in a generosity that flows out of their understanding and experience of the Gospel.

God loves when we love Jesus and persevere in faith, even in obscurity and difficulty.

The life of the Christian is a life of constantly reorienting ourselves to Christ. The life of a Christian is not one of perfection, it is one of perseverance. Perfection is of Christ, perseverance is of ours.

Proclaiming and living out the truth of God’s mercy and steadfast love toward us in specific ways, will keep us from moral and spiritual drift and strengthen our identity, joy, mission, and commitments.

The reasonable response to God's steadfast love and dependable faithfulness is enthusiastic declaration and tangible obedience to God and His Word. In these efforts, we continue to remain humbly dependent upon the LORD's ongoing love and faithfulness for success and perseverance.

We are a people dedicated to the King. We worship Him, find our rest in Him, and give our best to Him. This is all made possible because we have been made right with God.

When God grants repentance to His people, He gives them the desire and ability to set their hearts and minds on making a true, visible change. Newly re-discovered, the hearing of God's law kicked off a chain reaction: it brought conviction and grief for their sin. After they were led into worship, rest and celebration, they confessed. Then God put into them a desire to be set apart as their ancest...

Redemptive Communities are shaped by ALL the people; treasuring, proclaiming, obeying, celebrating, and living-out the Words of God. Worship of the living God, directed by his Word will result in confession of sin.  Confession of sin before the living God, directed by his Word will result in Worship. Our passage today builds on these truths and will shape our conclusion and application.

Redemptive communities are shaped by ALL the people treasuring, proclaiming, obeying, celebrating, and living out God's word.

Treasuring and proclaiming God's word results in fruit: the worship of God, joy, and strength in the like of those who believe.

Spiritual renewal and community vitality only occur under the authority of God’s Word. God’s Word convicts of sin, affirms grace, instructs in righteousness, assigns mission, and reveals the LORD’s design and will.

Rebuilding and Restoration starts with glorification of God in word and deed, putting faithful, God fearing men into leadership, and protecting the flock. We do this to build the Kingdom and to prepare the way for the King.

Fervency for building God's Kingdom will result in a developing life of perseverance. In other words, our ability to persevere will be only as strong as our commitment to living for Gods Kingdom.

Many people, both strangers and friends, did not appreciate or respond favorably to Nehemiah's sacrificial work on their behalf.

We don't need insight into something NEW as much as we need appreciation for something GREAT.

Fear the Lord, know your job, do your job, and do it in such a way that you proclaim the abundant goodness and generosity of God.

God's kingdom is to be filled with grace-grateful people who extend grace and selflessly look after one another in the interest of God's glory - displayed through His community people.

Kingdom building requires certain qualities in those who participate. While we each may not have all of the necessary traits at once, together and collectively we manifest the life and glory of the Lord and intentionally help each other move forward towards Him.

In 1 Corinthians 11, Paul emphasizes the significance of the Lord's Supper as a symbol of unity within the body of Christ. Participation in communion signifies our connection to Christ and our unity with fellow believers. It calls for discernment, understanding both the body of Christ and our own place within it, as we engage our minds intentionally in this sacred act of remembrance.
