What if we told you that God has a plan for you, a purpose for you, a PLACE for you to belong? In the first week of REENTRY, we look at the story of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15. 

This week, we got the incredible privilege to hear from one of our overseers, Pastor Marty Sloan. If we are really going to live a life that makes a difference, we will have to be a different people. Jesus showed us the way we lead is by serving. 

God has created each of us with a specific, unique design and gifting. But we also share a powerful, and eternal purpose. In Luke 10:25-29, Jesus unpacks what our purpose is - to love God and love others!  You can not love ALL that God created unless you love God with ALL you are. It takes a passionate pursuit of God to truly love God's people how He does. 

Freedom is not just about being free from the penalty of sin. Freedom is about being free from the power of sin. We grow in freedom when we are connected relationally and authentically. James 5:16 ESV 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed.

God’s desire (and ours) is that you would know God better. How do you do that? What does it look like to grow in relationship with God? Ephesians 1:17 I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you may know Him better.

"I can't wait for things to get back to normal." Have you said or heard anyone say that recently? This is something we can probably all agree on. But what if normal wasn't working? What if the life we were living was the best it could be? If we go back to way things were we might be missing out on what it could be. What if there is a "new norm" that God has for you? 

In Luke 23:39-43, we see some of Jesus' final moments, crucified between two thieves. One thief mocks Jesus and the other pleads with Jesus. As Jesus was being mocked because He didn't save Himself, He was actually saving us all by not saving Himself. The thief responded to Jesus by doing three things: Believe, Repent, and Confess.
