Just Arrived. We are told that patience is a virtue and that good things come to those who wait. For one man in particular, a lifetime of waiting is rewarded with the greatest gift ever -- to finally see with his eyes what his heart longingly hopes for. Luke 2:25-35

My Dad Said So. Christmas is a season of expectations. Whether it’s pragmatic desires or spiritual ones, we all bring our own wish list. In this message we look at the expectations and lessons learned by one observer of the first Christmas. Luke 1:67-79

Profit Statement. We all wonder about the future? Will it be better or will it be worse? What if the best answers concerning the future lie not in the present but in the past? What if there is one piece of history that makes the future our greatest source of hope? Micah 5:1-5b

Deserving. Is there a general posture to prayer? Is there a script, a time of day, or even a liturgy that gains the ear of God more than others? We naturally want our prayers to be answered, but could there be a priority to what God hears? Luke 18:9-14

Never Give Up. We naturally admire those who persevere under incredible odds. They succeed despite the challenges they face and make a difference where others fail. What is true as a general life principle is also true in our spiritual lives as well. The ability to trust God and to persevere in praying, despite what we see around us, is one of the hardest disciplines to maintain. Luke 18:1-8

Global. It is almost surprising the amount of hatred generated over simple belief. Yet, for many around the world, their lives are in constant peril because of their faith in Jesus. John 15:18-27

Rejected. We all make choices, some for good, some not so much. Our choices are often an indicator of our hearts true intention. Luke 20:9-19

Not Fair. We all instinctively want fairness. In fact, we see fairness as the great equalizer to the injustice we experience. What if there was something greater than fairness? Matthew 20:1-16

Tricky. What if we learned to leverage all we had in a way that truly changes the world for the better? Luke 16:1-14

It’s Too Late. We often make assumptions that those who are successful in life have an easy path into the next. What if heaven grades us on a totally different curve? Luke 16:19-31

Do Something. Missed deadlines and opportunities have a way of becoming later regrets. What if we learned a principle that moved us to action rather than becoming paralyzed by fear? Luke 19:11-27

Party Invitation. We all lead busy lives, so much so, that we can tend towards the tyranny of the present and neglect the urgency of the eternal. Luke 14:15-24

Deeper Love. In this message we find Jesus being invited into the home of a religious leader. What begins as a polite invitation to dinner soon turns into a lesson on the power of forgiveness and acceptance. Jesus once again used a simple story to illustrate a timeless truth about God, and the nature of a faith rooted in forgiveness. Luke 7:36-50

Now I Get It. From books to songs to movies, we all know the power of a great story. Not only do they draw us in emotionally but also have a way of touching us profoundly like nothing else can. Matthew 13:33-35

Painful. Hurt comes in many forms, making it virtually impossible to protect us from ever being touched by it. What we do with the hurt we experience is the key to healing and forgiveness. John 21:15-17
