In a world of self-help, there is only one way to rid ourselves of sin, and it is in dying to ourselves. We must die the same death that Jesus died in order to live like he lived. Romans 6.

We live in a world that is "impact" dominated. Everyone wants to have a great name. How is it that the greatest man of all time had very little impact in his day, but would go on to reshape the whole world? It would be through his humble submission to the will of his father. Romans 5:12-21

The peace that Christ offers believers goes beyond just a "feeling", but it that their status was changed by him, and the peace that they feel is their peace with God. This should absolutely reshape how Christians live. Romans 5:1-11

Ever since the fall, growth has now become a challenge for the believer. There are, however, ways to grow as a Christian, and while it may feel unnatural, it will ultimately reorient our lives and hearts to God. 1 Peter 2:1-12

While it may not always feel like it, whenever we go through things in life, it is all according to God's plan. Today we look at how God's plan took David through many ups and downs, but it was all ultimately to the glory of God. 1 Samuel 19

If Christian friendships pattern the gospel in our lives, then developing enemies is the result of living that gospel out in our lives. Ultimately, we must remember that there is a real enemy that is opposed to God, and he will not relent in his attacks. 1 Samuel 18.

The love demonstrated by two friends in David and Jonathan is not only an example for us today, but it is a pattern of the gospel. When we have loved sacrificially the way that we've been loved, then we will fulfill the call of the gospel. 1 Samuel 18:1-5.
