Louis brings us a new perspective on what success is and how it's 'released' into our lives.

Chris Lane brings our festive series to its conclusion this week. He walks us through the wonderful story of Christmas - describing how God is inviting us into a new beginning with Him. God's character and nature to give is shown through his willingness to give his son Jesus to us. On the Sunday before Christmas we take time to reflect that God truly does wonderful things.

The Bible tells us that the first Christmas was when the 'Word became flesh and dwelt among us". In this session Dennis considers different aspects of the "Word" Jesus, including His titles Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. We see how Jesus is the exact representation of God.

A GROWING FAMILY’S CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY by Chris Lane

The Bible tells us that without faith, it’s impossible to please God. Dennis walks us through some common issues that undermine our ability to truly believe that God is good, and therefore to trust Him with our lives. It is only when faith (spelt ‘RISK’) is at work that we can begin to step into the freedom and life that He’s prepared for us.

Chris Lane brings the Becoming talk series to a resounding conclusion! He encourages us to regard Connect Groups as the place to learn how to put love into action. They're a place where we learn to love God, each other and the world for which Christ died - and in which we are called to serve.
