As we move into 2017, Senior Pastor Chris Lane talks about what he believes God is saying to us this year: that we as a church community are 'coming of age'. This is a time where we are maturing from a child into an adult, impacting our collective identity, the way we respond to others and the kind of responsibility that Jesus gives us.

Dennis encourages us at the start of 2017 that whatever dreams, words, aspirations and goals that we have that we have received from God, we should get ready! As the scripture says, no eye has seen, no ear has heard or entered into the heart of man what God is preparing to do with us in 2017. The plans God has for us are bigger than we think and better than we think.

In the concluding of our “Visitors” series, Chris Lane celebrates the fact that while visitors come and go, God remains with us.

Chris Lane begins a brand new series this autumn where we focus on the gospels. Stories told about Jesus, of Him and by Him - it's going to be a packed series! Chris starts at the beginning of Luke's gospel and addresses how the evangelist established Jesus as Lord over evil.

In this talk Dennis leads us to give thanks for all that God has done by giving us a new building! He looks at how King David gave thanks to God, recognising His sovereignty in every area of his life. He confesses the realisation that it all comes from God, "we have given only that which comes from His hand."

After 30 months of running our Growing Family Campaign, we are in full celebration mode this weekend as we officially open our new building! We are delighted to welcome National Directors of VCUKI John & Debby Wright as our special guest speakers to celebrate with us and commemorate this special occasion.
