Which world do you live in? Do you live in a ‘Me-First’ world or a ‘Christ-First’ world? Understanding and answering this question will determine how we fulfil the purposes God has for us. Looking at John 12:20-27 and Jesus’ own words, this first part of a two-part talk challenges us to assess which world we truly live in and what our purpose should be.

God promises to provide for all our needs and yet we find that often we look to others before Him. Why is this? Mark looks at 5 common blocks we experience when it comes to God’s promise of provision and gives us some practical ways in which we can rightly respond.

In a time where being protected from the virus is top of mind for us all, we recognise that our hearts and minds are also in need of protecting. As we look at the Bible, we see that not only is the Lord our protection in these current difficult times but that we are also protected for all eternity.

Denise unpacks John 15:5 and emphasises that in order to bear fruit, the only thing required from us is to to completely rely on Jesus. One of the ways we abide in Jesus is through prayer and Denise shows us how we can develop our prayer life with Him.

As we continue the series on abiding in God, Richard explores and redraws what it means to be a friend of Jesus. In today’s world, we have lost the significance of its meaning, but when we understand it, our walk with God, and with others will be forever changed.

As we start a new series, we look at how we can abide in Jesus, weathering the heat of the day and bearing fruit as we seek to be a blessing to others.

As Mark wraps up the series, we focus on the Hero of His Story – Jesus. Unpacking Colossians 1:15-20, we see that all things have been created through Him, For Him and is sustained By Him, and that as we fix our eyes on Jesus, our living hope, we can weather the storms which we are going through.

As we come to the last of our talks in the series, we look at the final end-time event which we find in Revelation 21 and 22 and the start of a glorious new beginning; a new Heaven and New Earth.

Jesus will come again, and when He does, He will come in glory for all the world to see. As we continue in our series, we compare Jesus’ first coming with His second, but we also invite Jesus to come into our world now as we make space to welcome Him in a time of extended worship.

As we continue in our series and move to the next biblical event following the Rapture of the church (last week's talk) we look at the 7 year tribulation period. A subject which is often much confused, Mark looks at what it is and how it reveals the only way - Jesus.

As we continue in our series, His Story, we take a look at the much-misunderstood, Rapture of the Church. As Mark unpacks this exciting end-time event, we see how it reveals the very heart and love that Jesus has for His bride, the Church, and how we should respond in light of this.

Does Jesus’ own words give us a clue to what is happening around us today? Should we be surprised when Jesus predicted the very things we are seeing. As we continue in our series, His Story, we look at Matthew 24 and the ‘birth pains’ the world will experience in the end times and how as Christians we should respond.

Encouraging the church to dream big to see the Kingdom of God come. Encouraging them to partner with God, expectant that He will come through on His promises- whichever they may be. To always be on the look out for opportunities to bless.

The early church had unstoppable zeal to spread the Good News of Jesus because they’d experienced personally that God’s love is unstoppable. They knew that nothing is impossible with God! God’s purpose and plans for us are unstoppable – and everyone gets to play. God’s presence and power are unstoppable – He leads and guides as we worship, fast and pray.

This week we look at Acts 12 and Peter’s miraculous escape from prison. How was this possible? We find the answer in one little verse – verse 5 – the church prayed! What can we learn from this today and who has God placed in your life that needs your prayers?

What can we learn from this radical new church? Continuing our series in chapters 10 and 11 of Acts, we meet Peter (a Jew) and Cornelius (a gentile). Here we see Luke addressing issues of Prejudice, radical reconciliation of cultures and ethnicities and gives a blueprint of Gods desire for His church.

As we continue looking though the book of Acts, we come to Chapter 5 and a challenging and often mis-understood story - the story of Ananias and Sapphira. What could it mean for us today and how do we respond 2000 years later?

That moment you tell people you’re a Christian can spark different reactions and often some resistance. So, how did Peter have the boldness to go all in and see people come to know Jesus? Join Richard as he explores Acts 4 in the next part of this series.
