We're excited to continue telling the story of Canvas Church, a new church plant that is just now beginning in Goldsboro, NC. Today, we hear from Kevin McNeil, the church planter and pastor of Canvas Church about what it looks like to put our faith into action. 

Never underestimate the power of your personal story. This week, we wrap up the book of Acts with an encouragement to keep the sparks flying as the movement continues to spread. 

Too many people end up shut off from God's simple message because they've never been given easy access. This week we learn a lesson from the Apostle Paul as he teaches to a group of people who were far from him by meeting them where they were. 

This week's message is an encouragement for those of us who are feeling like COVID-19 has made us lose sight of our priorities as believers and as the Church. It's a call to refocus and take action. Stop making excuses and start making plans. Be encouraged friends!

Everyone knows the joy of being invited to take part in something exciting. We've also experienced the disappointment of being left out. Let's talk about the moment when God included us ALL in His greatest gift.

Transformation is one of God's biggest gifts to and goals for us. Let's look at one of the all time great transformations.

How seriously do you take your faith in Jesus? This week we meet Stephen, the first Christian to give his life for his faith in Jesus. He taught us that "if Jesus is worth following, he's worth following no matter what." 

Peter and John are riding high after their most recent experiences with the Holy Spirit and they're going to need His help to have the boldness it takes to face some fierce opposition. 

The wait us over! God has sent his gift. The Helper shows up in a MAJOR way to spark the movement. 

The book of Acts is the story of the first church and the movement that those early believers began. It's been nearly 5 years since we studied through this book... since the world has kind of turned upside since then we decided it was time to revisit the lessons from this book... which have not changed! This week... we "wait."

As the majority of our church family met together for our tailgate church at the YMCA we also had an online service for those who couldn't make it. This week Patrick unpacks the story of Nehemiah from the Old Testament to teach some great lessons for today. 

In this last installment of the series, Jesus hits home with a reminder of just how big a deal it is to be His disciple. 

How does forgiveness change us? Let's talk about that. 

Jesus teaches a tripple-parable in Luke 15 on things that are lost and then found. It must have been pretty important to Him. Let's talk about that. 

In this parable Jesus continues to explain why "the kingdom of heaven is like" a treasure and a pearl.  

In week two we take a look at how a crazy, unconventional farmer makes the kingdom of heaven crystal clear.

Jesus often taught in parables. In this series we will go through many of Jesus' greatest teachings by looking at some of the parables he taught. To kick it off, we'll hear a story about a farmer sowing seed and learn the encouraging truth that each of us can bear fruit in our lives by preparing our soill. 

As we wrap up this series, let's talk about prayer!

A look at Colossians Chapter 3

Order of operations is pretty vital in many areas of our lives. When it comes to God this couldn't be more true. Today we dive into Colossians 1:15-23 to see just how amazing Jesus is. 

This week we kick off a study through the book of Colossians. Through Jesus, we can learn a NEW MENTALITY about ourselves and about God that will teach us about the heart of God and lead us to live the type of life that honors him!
