Ephesians 4:12 ..to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ…

Come now, let us reason together, says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool. - Isaiah 1:18

Total forgiveness means releasing the offender from any feelings of resentment and even praying blessing over them. The story of Joseph and his brothers from Genesis chapters 42-50 helps us see a picture of how to forgive like God forgives us.

Sovereignty of God- God has absolute power and right to do all things according to his own good pleasure

God may use a season where you feel stuck to do some of his greatest work in your life.

"As the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive." - Colossians 3:13

When relationships get messed up, we clear it up.... "If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone." Romans 12:18

"Rather, speaking truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ." Ephesians 4:15

"Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body." Ephesians 4:25

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Philippians 2:3–4

We are knit together when we love the same things. "...with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel... I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation for the gospel." Phil 1:3-8

God's discipline proves His love for us and our sonship. In your pain, do not lose heart and see God's hand in your suffering.

"For this light and momentary affliction is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison..." 2 Corinthians 4:17

God gives in to prevailing prayer, Luke 18:1 "And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart."

Ephesians 6:10 "Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might."

God promises to bless willful submission - not control - in our relationships. Ephesians 5:21 "..submitting to one another out of reverence to Christ. "

Marriage is a daily (even hourly) portrayal of Jesus and the church.

We are people who pay steep costs, but find great treasure in Jesus. "In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. " Colossians 2:3

Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. - Ephesians 5:1-2

"...to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness."- Ephesians 4:23-24

Christian, You have been given a weighty and unique role in building up this church!

Ephesians 4:1- I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called.

Ephesians 3:18-19... may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Suffering incurred in the path of gospel ministry is a mere trifle.

Remember that you were separated from Christ, but now you have been brought near by the blood of Christ!
