Utah Section PGA pro Jon Paupore of Red Ledges joins Paul and Jan for the live show on ESPN 700 to kick off the new Jed X Jug season at the Salt Lake Golf Lounge, catch up with a hot BYU men's team, celebrate a new slate of high school boys state champs, report on some cool stuff at Gladstan, and the latest from the Utah Golf Foundation. Rhett Rasmussen, Tracy Zobel, Devin Dehlin and Megan Huntsma...

BYU blitzed the final nine at the Nick Watney Invitational in Fresno to score its second consecutive victory. Peter Kuest tied for medalist while Rhett Rasmussen fired a closing round 62 to lead the Cougs. Coach Bruce Brockbank and Rasmussen join the pod. 

The Utah Golf Foundation recently played 100 holes in a day -- the 100 Hole Hike -- to raise money for Youth on Course to help pay green fees for Utah kids. Come along for the fun, and the kids. 

The boys are back in town as Hack and Baggins sit down with Paul at the PGA TOUR Superstore in Sandy to talk about what you're talkin' about... Zac at Safeway, Tony at Dunhill, Rory says courses are too easy and some Utah Golf Foundation Youth on Course 100 Hole Hike. 

BYU's Peter Kuest wins the Tucker Invitational at New Mexico as the Cougars take 2nd, losing to the Lobos in a team playoff. Kuest's sets a tournament record -16 200, winning by nine. Kuest joins the pod. 

Jordan Bloxham of Impact Golf Center joins Paul and Jan for a UPOT update, Beaver High's 2A State Championship, and a lot of BYU Golf. Coach Jason Pollard, Coach Bruce Brockbank, Coach Carrie Roberts, and BYU's Allysha Mateo join the live show on ESPN 700. Dean Cottle of Utah Golf Foundation tees up a special women's vet event. 

Sand Hollow Golf Week is a lot more than the Sand Hollow Open, though that's sure cool. The Friendship Cup brings a delegation of golfers from Scotland to share in Utah golf at its finest. Mark Leavitt made this happen; he joins the pod along with Wesley Ruff and a group of great guys from Scotland. 

Taylor Montgomery successfully defends his Sand Hollow Leavitt Group Open title with a four-shot win over Steven Kupcho. Hayden Christensen takes low Utahn and low amateur. Montgomery and Christensen join the pod. 

Sand Hollow Director of Golf Adam Jasperson sits in with Paul and Jan for the Sand Hollow Open on the live show on ESPN 700. Mark Leavitt, Zach Johnson, Steele DeWald, Randy Dodson, Patrick Fishburn, Easton Fulster and Brant Wiwi join the show. 

Former BYU All-American, State Am champ and Utah Open champ Patrick Fishburn wins the final stop on the Mackenzie Tour to sneak into the top-5 on the Order of Merit and qualify for the Korn Ferry Tour. Fishburn joins the pod. 

Paul's at Poppy Hills while The Ranches and Utah Section PGA pro Zach Chisholm joins the live show on ESPN 700 to talk a lot of college golf, the latest on Preston Summerhays and national Youth on Course. Utes Coach Garrett Clegg, UVU Coach Sue Nyhus, SUU's Jake Vincent and YOC's Devin Meheen join in, too. 

Denny Job wins his second straight Talons Cove Am with a three-shot margin over Nathan Ouimette and Elija Turner. Chuck O'Brien wins the Senior division by two over Brett Sampson and Randy Hicken. Job joins the pod. 

Casey Fowles rides a cute little course record-tying 61 to take his second Davis Park Open in a row. Home pro Zach Johnson is second at 63. Fowles joins the pod.  

After a long break from competition, former UGA Senior Player of the Year Craig Wilson tees it up again and surprises even himself with his second Senior Stroke Play championship in a playoff win over Peter Stuhr. Wilson and Stuhr join the pod. 

Dana Dahlquist came to Utah to teach a clinic with Ryan Holt of River Oaks. Dahlquist, Holt and emerging long drive beast Josh Koch sat down for a great conversation. 

Utah Section PGA Pro Ryan Holt of River Oaks joins the show to help us recap the Tour Championship and welcome renowned instructor Dana Dahlquist. We chat with Justin Woodland of the Utah Golf Course Superintendents Association remembering Pace Erickson and teeing up the Superintendent of the Year vote and the fundraising event the supers are doing with the UGA and Utah Section. Rory McIlroy saves the Tour Championship by winning both the gross and the net sides of the tournament. Hack joins the pod to help break it all down. 

Utah Section PGA Pro Mike Manning of Trackman joins the show. We recap a stirring Utah Open, talk the Tour Championship, tee up Sand Hollow Golf Week and the US Mid Ams. Sam Saunders, Kelton Hirsch, Jake Miller, and Mark Leavitt join the show. 

Hack of Hack and Baggins joins the pod (Baggins dogged us for St. Andrews) to celebrate the PGA TOUR's Net Club Championship, er, the FedEx Cup Playoffs' TOUR Championship at East Lake. 

New Mexico pro Sam Saunders won the Utah Open in a two-hole playoff over BYU player and former State Am champ Kelton Hirsch at Riverside CC. Saunders and Hirsch shot -14 202 for the 54 hole event. Steele DeWald was low Utah Section PGA pro and Mark Owen was low senior. Saunders and Hirsch join the pod.
