UNLV junior Veronica Joels wins the Utah Women's Open at Thanksgiving Point by three shots over two-time champ Lea Garner. Joels joins the pod. 

Tony Finau is T13, -3 67, two shots out after Round 1 of the PGA Championship at Harding Park in San Francisco. Davis Park pro Zach Johnson had a rough day to go with his injured chest, struggling to an 82. Johnson joins the pod. 

Utah Section PGA Player of the Year Zach Johnson is at Harding Park for the PGA Championship, having played his way into the tournament via PGA of America points. He'll be nursing a rib injury when he tees off in cold, windy weather Thursday morning. Johnson joins the pod.

Kirk Siddens continues his stellar play with a two-shot win in the Utah Senior Open at Toana Vista, the first amateur to win since 2011. Defending champ Mark Owen and Ryan Rhees at low pros at T2. Siddens joins the pod.   

David Jennings won the UGA's Utah Mid-Am on the strength of a closing 60, which he needed to overcome Kirk Siddens who shot his own 60 the day before. These 60s are the new course record at Davis Park. Jennings and Siddens join the pod. 

Wayne Volk's long and varied career in Utah golf is celebrated at the Utah Senior Open at Toana Vista. Volk and his son, Utah Section PGA president Dustin Volk, join the pod.

Grace Summerhays makes history - a lot of it - winning the Women's State Am at Soldier Hollow, overcoming defending champ Kerstin Fotu in the semi and four-time champ Kelsey Chugg in the final. Kelsey Chugg, Tess Blair, Kerstin Fotu (all former champions) and Grace Summerhays (the Utah Junior State Am champion) are the semi-finalists in the Women's State Am. 2018 champion Tess Blair leads the field into the match play at the Women's State Am taking medalist honors by four shots over Grace Summerhays with a -8 136. Defending champ Kerstin Fotu storms the back nine Tuesday to make match play. Blair and Fotu join the pod. 

2018 Women's State Am champ Tess Blair shoots -5 67 and leads the stroke play qualifying by five shots over Grace Summerhays and Chanikan Yongyuan after the first round at Soldier Hollow. Blair joins the pod. 

Local player Clint Finkbiner fulfills a lifelong goal with a playoff win in the historic Black Diamond Open at Carbon Country Club over Derek Penman and Blake Murray. Finkbiner joins the pod to discuss his win.

Back in the saddle with BJ! He wins the Utah Section PGA 4-Ball with Zach Johnson, misses Monday qualifying for the Korn Ferry Tour's Utah Championship by one... AGAIN! (Ouch.) And we cheer for Danny Summerhays.

The record will show Kyle Jones as the winner of the Korn Ferry Tour Utah Championship because, well, he won. But this tournament belonged to Daniel Summerhays. Daniel joins the pod. 

Ogden's Patrick Fishburn made a big move, climbing 23 spots in the 3rd round of the Korn Ferry Tour's Utah Championship into a tie for 18th with a 65. Jimmy Stanger goes to T11 with 68; Danny Summerhays slips to T28 with a 68; and Mike Weir holds serve at T45 with his third 68. Stanger joins the pod.  

Utah Section PGA pro Jon Paupour and Reagan Leadbetter of Good Things Utah help us unpack the first two rounds of the Korn Ferry Tour's Utah Championship at Oakridge on the live show on ESPN 700. Daniel Summerhays goes deep on his decision to trade the Tour for teaching high school. State Am qualifier spots are filling up fast.
