Ustadh Abdulrahman is uniquely positioned as an individual who combines the experience of traditional Islamic scholarship from the East, as well as the knowledge and understanding of the West. By the tender age of 10, Allah allowed him to memorise The Qur’an and Buloogh Al Maraam – a book that contains more than 1,300 hadith. He then went on to formally study Islam in Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Somalia, before returning to the UK as an Imaam and a da’ee. Becoming a Steadfast Muslim in the 21st Century | Ustadh Abdulrahman Hassan #AMAU 13.09.2025

We live in a time where Muslims can lift 200kg at the gym but struggle to lift a blanket for Fajr. Where hearts drown in endless scrolling, doubts, and desires. Where practising Islam is mistaken for harshness, or where perfection is demanded until people burn out and give up. But Allah never asked you to be perfect. He asked you to be steadfast. To have Istiqamah. What does that really mean today...

The Legendary Arabic Poem: Laamiyah Al-Arab | Shanfara's Revenge 18.08.2025

This classical Arabic poem isn’t just eloquent — it’s dangerous. Laamiyah al-Arab is the voice of Shanfara, a man betrayed by blood, raised by the one who killed his father, and driven to the wild. He swore vengeance. He lived with wolves. He wrote verses that shook Arabic literature. Something to wonder: Why are scholars of our religion teaching his words? Because this poem is a map of the Arabic...

25 Ways Muslim Husbands Ruin Their Own Marriage 15.08.2025

It doesn’t always look like “mistreating” your wife. Sometimes it’s cutting her off mid-sentence because you think you know what she’ll say, or scrolling through your phone while she’s telling you about her day, or brushing off her feelings with “you’re overreacting”. Little by little, these moments chip away at trust, affection, and respect until your wife feels unseen in her own home. In this vi...

Banat Suad: The Prophet ﷺ Listened to This Poem From Beginning to End 15.08.2025

This poet once insulted the Prophet ﷺ — then stood before him, recited new verses… and walked away wearing the Prophet’s ﷺ cloak. This is the true story of Banat Su’ad: a poem that turned an enemy into a forgiven companion. Kaʿb ibn Zuhayr was once known for mocking the Prophet ﷺ and attacking his family with his words. Fearing for his life, he came to Madinah, sat in front of the Prophet ﷺ, and a...

New Classical Book: Manzoomah Al-Ahsaai 15.08.2025

You think your Iman is safe… that you’ll die with it intact, no matter what. But watch how quickly it gets chipped away when doubts come dressed as trends, debates, or posts that sound clever — until your heart’s spinning at night, wondering what’s true. Your Aqeedah isn’t just a label. It’s your shield when the world keeps pushing you to blur the lines. And a shield only works if you know what yo...

Feeling Sad? Depressed? Here's How You Can Cure It 15.08.2025

You wake up already tired. The mind’s racing before your feet even touch the ground. You pray, but it feels like a routine. You open the Qur’an, but the words blur. You smile, you function… but inside, you're drained. Some days, you’re not even sad. Just numb. On edge. Like you’re bracing for something, but you don’t know what. You try everything, you listen to reminders… but your heart still feel...

Kind to Strangers, Harsh to Parents? 15.08.2025

They cleaned you when you couldn’t clean yourself, stayed awake through your fevers, and prayed for you when you didn’t even know how to pray. They grew old while raising you. Their hair turned grey while giving you comfort. Now, they call you, and you’re “busy.” They ask for a small favour, and you sigh. They raise their hands to make du’a for you… And you make them cry? Allah mentioned the paren...
