Easter is a reminder of Jesus' resurrection (aka Resurrection Sunday), for on the third day, Jesus was resurrected.

This weekend we celebrated with our Palm Sunday service as we end Lent.

As we continue our sermon series, Letting Go, we dive into Jeremiah 31: 31 - 34. We speak about evangelism as the responsibility of everyone and not just the pastor. We also explore what the covenant for our time really means.

This week we discuss John 3:14-21 - Letting Go of Condemnation (vs. Affirmation). Evangelism is not about making people fear God or hell. It’s about helping people fall in love with God, who loves us all.

This week we explore Matthew 10:40-42 and the topic of Letting Go of Indifference. Evangelism requires a welcoming mindset and concern about others, especially the stranger.

We explore God's promise as it is kept through Abraham's offspring as we read Romans 4: 13 - 25.

Jesus does great miracles among the family of those male disciples whom he knew. These were females - a sign that Jesus sought to reach out beyond the familiarity of patriarchy. After praying, he realized he needed to go outside his neighborhood.

This week we explored wizards and those we hold in our image. We place ourselves in Mark 2:1-12 and explore the relationship between Jesus and the paralyzed man.

This week we explored how Art/Creating Changes Us and it’s inspiration, it’s emotional outlet; and the ripple effect of art/it’s expression and its impact! We shared Luke 9:28-36 and Transfiguration.

This week our scripture is text is to Praise God with harp & lyre, timbrel & dancing, Psalm 150; gifts for building the Temple, 1 Chronicles 29; and I am the vine & you are the branches, John 15:1-4. The questions we discover explore honoring this divine connection/what this connection means and theological framework: God with us/within us (vs. Divine as outside of us).

This week we explore fruit of the spirit; Galatians 5:22-23. We what we do is sacred “work,” what mark do we leave in our communities, what impact are we called to have, what’s our purpose as the body of Christ in the world, theological framework – the power of chosen family (fictive kin) and community.  

This week we explore Genesis and creation texts; Psalm 139. The questions we discover will discuss what you do / wherever you do it is sacred “work”/how do we live into our story?/we have agency. We will also share what’s our purpose / meaning making as those created in the image of God theological framework – you are created good/original blessing vs. original sin.

This New Year we rejoice in Hebrews 13. Show love and be hospitable to one another.

This week we explored John 1:1-5, Luke 1:26-38, Matthew 2:1-10, Luke 2:8-20. We celebrate love and Christ. On Christmas Eve we remember the birth of Jesus Christ.

Christmas Eve invites us to connect with Christ. Join us as we invite Christ and Christ's birth in our lives.

The third Sunday of Advent is Joy. We pray for joy that comes with Jesus’ arrival, and the salvation he has gifted us.

The second Sunday of Advent is Peace. We pray for peace and share the time of coming together, community building a community of faith. We pray for peace amongst relationships.

Jesus asks a very practical but important question for all of us: How many loaves have you? That is, what have you got at hand/within you? Relevance deals with what we already have, how we can offer it to Jesus and how it can be multiplied.
