This week as we conclude our series on being “Alive in Christ | Koinonia as communion” we explore the last chapter of Paul’s letter to the Galatians. We are called to fulfill “the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2) by investing in the Spirit and reaping Christ’s life in ours. The epistle that started with a rebuke concludes with a call to persevere in doing good. How? Christ in you, the hope of glory.

As we continue in the book of Galatians this week, Paul challenges us to see that the Law is impotent while the Gospel is powerful. Again we hear strong language that calls the people of faith to remember what they have seen and to think through the implications of the false doctrines they are hearing.

Even though he is Jewish Paul clarifies that, just like the Gentiles, his salvation comes from faith in Christ Jesus not the works of the law.
