This week our sandwich story begins with Jesus seeing a fig tree on his way to Jerusalem from Bethany. The disruption describes what happens when Jesus goes to the temple. Verse 20 picks up the original presentation with Jesus walking by the same fig tree the next morning. Jesus is passionate about meeting you in prayer, no matter how barren the scene.
