Spring 2020 - Intimacy with God and Others: The Practice of Silence and Solitude   Bethany Walker is a representative for Joni & Friends. Bethany speaks on being pro-life, with emphasis on the value of the end of life, as well as disability.

Spring 2020 - "Intimacy with God and Others: The Practice of Studying Scripture"    Jonathan Parnell is the lead pastor of Cities Church in Minneapolis-St. Paul, a church he and his team planted in 2015. In chapel, Jonathan looks to Psalm 1 as he reflects this the week's theme: The Practice of Studying Scripture 

Spring 2020 - "Intimacy with God and Others: The Practice of Social Engagement"   Tammy Kocher is the Executive Director for New Life Family Services. She talks about what New Life Family Services offers while speaking on abortion. She asks a series of questions to Jeff & Debby, who share their personal story with abortion. 

Spring 2020 - "Intimacy with God and Others: The Practice of Prayer"  Justin encourages students to pause and recognize God's presence with the emphasis of this week's theme in prayer.

Spring 2020 - "Intimacy with God & Others: The Practice of Remembering"  President Cureton walks through Joshua chapter one, reiterating how God has shown faithfulness and grace. 

Fall 2019 - "Advent"   Tammy Kocher is the Executive Director for New Life Family Services. Tammy makes her second appearance in chapel during this week in Advent. She is joined by Thomas and Korina and they share their adoption story. Tammy also shares insight of embryo adoption via video.  

Fall 2019 - "Advent"    Justin Jeppesen is joined by three members of Northwestern's community to share their perspectives and testimonies on adoption.

Preston addresses personal relationships with those who have dealt with their sexuality. Preston speaks on how we as Christians need to treat everyone with love and kindness. 

Fall 2019 - "Who am I? Identity & Sexuality"   Justin Jeppesen works through part of Ephesians with an overarching question: "What is dead in your life that you need raising again?"   References: Ephesians 1-2 

Fall 2019 - "Who am I? Identity & Sexuality"   Kim Ketola is an accomplished singer, speaker, and writer. Kim speaks about the issue of abortion and the importance of human life.

Fall 2019 - "Who am I? Identity and Culture"   Brianna Silvers and Sam Cook are recognized on stage as this year's ADA Award winners. After the awards, two UNW students take the stage and share their personal stories when it comes to disabilities. 

Fall 2019 - "Who am I? Identity & Culture - Disability Awareness Week"   Lee Burtman is recently retired. She formally worked at Bethlehem Baptist Church as the Disability Ministry Coordinator. Lee shares the theme of following Jesus' example of loving those with disabilities. Lee also brings up her son Kyle to share his perspective.

Fall 2019 - "Who am I? Identity & Culture - Disability Awareness Week"   Lee Burtman is recently retired. She formally worked at Bethlehem Baptist Church as the Disability Ministry Coordinator. Lee shares her personal story and experiences as well as sharing the theme of following Jesus' example of loving those with disabilities.  

Fall 2019 - "Who am I? Identity & Culture"   Justin Jeppesen discusses with UNW staff Alyssa Serakos and Neal Cameron on the concept of worship. Focusing of the "worshiper identity' as well as the roles of worship.

Fall 2019 - "Who am I? Identity & Culture"    Ramon is the founder/CEO of Impact Lives. Dr. Pastrano shares his story as well as emphasizing the truth of Christ and the importance of loving others. 

Fall 2019 - "Who am I? Identity & Culture"   Katy is a current student at the University of Northwestern. Katy shares her story and also emphasizes what Jesus has done in her life. She also follows this semester's theme in Identity by emphasizing that there needs to be an acknowledgment of the identity God gave you.   References: Psalm 103 

Fall 2019 - "Who am I? Identity in Christ"    Daniel Hill is the Senior Pastor at River City Community Church. On day two of his two-day series, Daniel asks two key questions to reflect on: "Who am I?" and "How do I fit in the world?"
