Beached Bodies are a duo that play ukelele-driven power pop. While known for their high-energy performances, they are also doing amazing work in the studio. They write their own songs and self-produce everything. They also have an interesting and effective way of getting some of the songs out of Shen's head and into reality. She will sing the melodies, so Will can craft parts of the song around it...

On this weeks episode of Unsigned518's Weekend Spotlight, I pick a couple events to talk about, but also created kind of a "bonus episode" when Chris Castrio co-owner of Argyle Brewing Company stopped by so we could record a conversation about their upcoming 10 Year Anniversary party this weekend, which, in full disclosure I am also playing at. So after a couple of events, Amy's top picks from Aro...

Anacortez caught my attenition in a big way the first time I heard their cover of the classic deftones song My Own Summer (Shove It). I was blown away, not only by the ferocity of the guitars and the kick-you-in-the-face drums on the song, but by the nuance of the lyrics. Jessie's voice went from ultra-quiet whisper to raging scream with such a fluency that I would put her performance on par with...

This special episode is to celebrate the release of Girth Control's 25-song album "Life's Too Short For Girth Control" and it's accompanying tour "Dorito Covered World".
