This week we answer 5 questions about how community shapes us to look more like Christ. Due to technical difficulties the message is split in half.

Luke 11:1-4. If we want to live a Jesus shaped life we must prioritize prayer like he did. (The first few minutes are cut off due to technical difficulties).

Psalm 119:9-16. Starting our new series on “The Fundamentals”- being spiritually formed to look more like Christ. Today we look and see that the Bible is reliable, the Bible is helpful, and ultimately the Bible is worth treasuring. Read just 5 minutes a day with us!

Matthew 12:22-30. In this passage Jesus shows people who he really is and tells them that they are either with him or against him.

Matthew 28:16-20. Jesus gives his disciples the call to the greatest mission of all time along with the greatest comfort of all time, to always be with them.

Matthew 17:1-8. What is your posture in the presence of God?

Exodus 3 & 34.

Are we desperate for the presence of God? Today we look at a man who was and find out what we can learn from him.

What is the scripture based vision for a local church? What does that look like played out at Unity Church this year?

Romans 7. Guest preacher Paul Trulock shares about how we can look forward to this new year not reliant on our own power to live a better life, but God’s.

Matthew 2:1-12. We ruin Christmas when we make it all about ourselves. The wise men show us how this Christmas can be your best Christmas yet.

Matthew 1:18-25. Looking at the Christmas story through the lens of Joseph. A man who obeyed God even when it make sense.

Matthew 1:1-17. The Christmas story is a story of redemption. We see in our passage today how God chose to redeem the world through a baby born to a family that seemed ruined.

Mark 15:42-47. What we look forward to will determine how we act. In the final message of The Upside Down Kingdom series we see a man who was looking forward to the Kingdom of God and because of that, he moved boldly on behalf of the king.

Mark 14:22-26. The story of the first Lord’s Supper. Jesus wants us to remember the cross so that we would live cross-shaped lives.

Mark 12:28-34. A scribe asks Jesus what is the greatest command? Jesus responds with a simple answer that encapsulates all of the law: to love God and to love people.

Mark 10:17-31. In the story of the rich young ruler and the commentary after we learn that being rich can be an unexpected barrier to entering the kingdom of God. In this message we talk about what that really means.

Mark 10:13-16. Jesus shockingly tells his disciples that little children model what it takes to enter the Kingdom of God. What does he mean?

Mark 9:43-48. Jesus gives an unexpected solution to humanity’s problem with sin. He calls his disciples to cut off what causes them to fall away in sin and cling to him.

Mark 8:31-9:1. Jesus gives an unexpected invitation to his disciples to imitate him. Jesus was perfectly obedient even unto death and he calls his disciples to do the same.

Mark 4:30-32. Jesus tells the parable of the mustard seed. Displaying how the Kingdom of God, although it starts small, can have a massive impact on the world.

Mark 4:26-29. Jesus tells us a parable about a seed that experiences unexpected growth without any human aganecy. He reminds us of our responsibility of sowing the seed of the gospel and he comforts us with the fact that He is responsible for the growth.

Mark 4:1-20. Jesus shares and explains the parable of the sower, the seed and the soils. We discuss how the issue with our relationship to God does not lie with King Jesus or His word, but with our hearts. (We apologize as the last few minutes are cut off due to audio issues).
