We all desire freedom...we just have different ways of getting there. For the most part, humans see freedom as doing what we want to do. But God has different definition of freedom and it leads to a far different place than doing what we want to do.

Find a place to sit where you are comfortable and won't be distracted. Calm your body and mind and let's reflect on what it means to be set free by God.

As Christians, we are called to care about justice because God loves justice. Part of caring is getting closer to the pain of people and that is what we aim to do in these conversations.

Sex is good. It's not evil. And it's not inherently sinful. However, just like most things, there are positives and negatives associated with it. The good news is that God has given us boundaries meant to protect us from the dangers of sex, while still experiencing the benefits of it. And when we will trust God and submit to His boundaries, we will experience the best sex possible!

We all have a list and a type when it comes to dating and relationships, don’t we? We often talk about finding “The One”. But Jesus never focused us on changing others, he focused us on our own growth and journey. And He gave us a principle in the sermon on the mount that can radically change our dating life, even though dating didn’t exist at the time.  You have more control on your romance life...

We all have people in our lives that we want to follow Jesus. But so often, they don't seem interested in coming to church. So what do we do? And how can we possibly reach billions of people who don't know Jesus? Jesus gave us the plan in a story about farming. It's simpler than you might think.

We all have a champion in our life. It's whoever or whatever we depend on most, especially when the pressure is high. When life is falling apart, what do we turn to? As we look at the account of David and Goliath, there is so much more than a battle between a boy and a giant. It is calling us to look deeper and consider who our champion really is. What do you think of when you hear that love protects? Does this mean we are to run around like vigilantes and physically fight to protect others? Possibly. But there is far more to this idea than simple physical protection. In this message, Rachel shares about what true protection looks like.

The longest and most hard to follow characteristic of love can be found in 1 Corinthians 13:6 where is says that "love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth". What does this mean and what does it have to do with love? It may seem random, but this verse has a lot to do with the influence we have on the people around us and how we use it.

When people hurt us, we often hold on to it. We are really good at keeping score. But God’s kind of love does something different. Rather than holding on to how others hurt us, it looks past it and let’s it go. This is a message we can all get better at it!

A lot of us don't feel like we struggle with anger and rage. But you probably find yourself getting irritated daily. And when we are irritated easily, we find it really difficult to be loving towards others. God's love bends and doesn't break when it gets irritated.

Out of all the characteristics listed in 1 Corinthians 13, this one may be the most important when it comes to living out God's love. If we live selfishly focused on ourselves, we can't hope to love like Jesus. In this message we talk about why it's so hard to be selfless and why it's so necessary.

Honoring others is sometimes really easy. It’s easy to honor those who are powerful and influential. But Jesus shows us a different kind of honor. One that is far more difficult, yet infinitely more powerful. 

Pride and boasting are unattractive and push people away. It’s no wonder that God’s version of love is incompatible with both. In Luke 18, Jesus shows us how they prevent us from loving like Him, while also giving us the key to living life without them.

Envy is really comparison. And when you constantly compare yourself to others, it makes it very difficult to love them. In this talk, we discuss the key to living a life not controlled by comparison.

Kindness has power. It can restore broken relationships, bring together strangers, and break down walls between groups of people. We look at what it means to actually show kindness through the story of Jesus and a widow in Luke 7.

What does patience have to do with love? It doesn't seem like it would be that important. But in a culture that has trained us to be impatient, patience is more powerful than ever! So what is patience and how can it change the world?

Sometimes following Jesus seems really complicated. There are so many commands that we often want to know what really matters. This isn't a new question! People were asking this question in Jesus' day and He answered. He gave us an idea and command that applies to all situations and makes following Him so clear.
