God knows our heart.  He wants you to love him so he can be the master of your heart.  He desires for us to not seek after that which the world values, but to, pursue God. Are we in pursuit of God? Are we able to hide the condition of our hearts from God? How do we know who is mastering our hearts? Luke 13:13-15 Support the show

How are you called to respond to God’s kindness? What do we love and what do we despise? Have you ever tried to reduce your guilt by pointing out someone else's? How does God's kindness impact us? We should respond to God’s kindness with gratitude and humility. Support the show

Does Christ dwell in you? Do you have faith?  Your faith is what allows Christ to enter your heart.  God’s purposes for us is to fill our hearts with Himself. A heart where Christ dwells is established in love.  Support the show

What is the most important measurement of our physical well-being? The Heart is the most important part of the body to sustain life. We need to be careful and cautious of the ideas we are exposed to.  False ideas and false thinking can be our most dangerous threat.  Ideas have the power to change us from the inside out for good or bad.  Therefore, the ideas we follow and pursue have great influence on who we are.  The smallest perversions of God’s truth can be the most damaging. The kingdom of heaven is the only truly worthy treasure to pursue in life.  His kingdom is worthy of being pursued diligently by us and we should and need to totally buy in to His kingdom. Support the show

God calls those who are weary and burdened because his yolk brings freedom from sin.  We can be refreshed when we give our service to Him. Support the show

Our misery is what God provides mercy for. It is the object of his mercy.  Our human despair is solved by moral leadership. His moral leadership solves are human despair.  God wants us to be ready for that change and allow us to lead him. Support the show

There are a lot of things we overlook or take for granted. We live in climate-controlled spaces with upgrades that in previous times were unthinkable even for kings. Wise builders build on a foundation of rock or stone. Will our spiritual homes be able to withstand the waves? How can we be wise builders?  Support the show

Jesus tells us to watch out for false prophets. Are people really out there that would deceive us? Today we look at a wolf in sheep's clothing. What causes some of us to trust in false prophets? Support the show

Jesus wants us to choose his path, his way.  It is the better path because it is difficult.  It is the better path because it leads to life.  All good things in life are better because they are challenging and difficult.  We are rewarded for pursuing the path which is narrow. Support the show

God calls us to store a lasting treasure.  Our sacrifice here on Earth will create a treasure that is multiplied in heaven.  Our heart ought to be set on things above so our treasure will be there also.  We need to place our heart on God so we place ourselves under him. Support the show

Jesus calls us to be fishers of men.  He calls us to do that which he has given us the ability to do.  It suits us to follow him and lead others to do the same. Will we leave the lesser for the greater? This work is hard, but is it valuable? Support the show

Are we dependent upon every word the comes from God?  Is His word truly the bread of life? God's teaching is vital to us existing. We must always recognise that all things come from the mouth of God.  Support the show

The idea that we are our own master is a BAD IDEA. God is sovereign always. We are not our own master. God determines our outcome and has complete control even in the midst of our rebellion. Support the show
