Chaos seems to be reigning—seems to be. But, for those of us who know the Prince of Peace, the chaos is just a bump in the road.

Rather than "casting pearls before swine," let's be strategic in our efforts to bring the good news to our communities.

The Bible declares that we who are in Christ are “new creatures.” So, after we get saved, what is new about us? What has changed?

Even those with the strongest of faith experiences doubt every once in a while. How does one respond when it happens?

It's easy to stay close to God when you are passing through a crucible. But, how about when the blessings are flowing?

Look at the lives of King Herod and Joseph (the earthly father of Jesus). How are they remembered? What is their legacy?

Joy is a choice. Don't let the enemy of your soul steal your joy.

What does it mean to be a person after God's own heart?

Sometimes we just need to be reminded of what it means to be saved.

Calling myself "unworthy" has been identified by psychologists as being unhealthy. But, calling myself "unworthy" doesn't necessarily mean I am suffering from a poor self image. "Do you solemnly swear (or affirm) to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help you God?" "Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband so help you God?" "God, if you will just do this for me, then I will do this for you." Do any of these vows sound familiar to you? Have you expressed any of them? If so, how are you doing at keeping them?

God worked mightily all because a little girl had faith in God and wasn't afraid to speak about it.

Why is it so much easier to seek forgiveness when we learn that we have harmed someone than it is to be reconciled with someone when they have harmed us? Why do we so often hold onto hurt?

The Bible says that I am to be holy (perfect) as God is holy (perfect). It also says that without holiness (perfection) no one will see the LORD. I'm not a perfect Christian. So, will I get to see God or not?

By the presence of God's Holy Spirit, the prophet Elisha forsook his "stuff" and walked in the power of God. He is a perfect example of how one can live a life of selflessness and holiness.
