Two Minutes on Tuesday

This well known verse is not really about preaching, but faithfulness.

An old story reminds us that our focus is important. The way to win our eternal race is remembering where to keep our focus. 

Sometimes, what we do for the Kingdom seems menial and unimportant. But one menial task in the past has blessed generations of believers.

Water has to flow to keep from getting stagnant. The same is true with your blessings.

While culture applauds the fabulous, God notices the details. Maybe we should too.

The essence of Christianity is a rescue mission. We should never forget that we have been rescued!

The Apostle Paul reminds us that "Though we may get knocked down, we are never knocked out." (2 Corinthians 4:9) Sometimes we just have to get up and go another round.

Sometimes, Jesus offers help, and instead of receiving His help, we make excuses for why we are in the situation we are in. But we are not alone. It happened to a first century struggler as well. 

When a sinful woman entered the room where a Pharisee and Jesus were sitting, the Pharisee missed the Messiah because He was so focused on the sinfulness of the woman. 

Jesus gives us a promise of a "plentiful harvest". However, He also lamented that there were few laborers willing to go to the fields. Will you agree to go to the field around you, your community, your neighborhood, your co-workers, your friends, and reap the harvest?

Have you ever noticed how often the Bible encourages persistent praying? As we join together to pray for revival, let’s not quit until the answer comes!

When we pray for the impossible, people will laugh. But when Jesus enters the room, the impossible happens.

If you sow corn, you reap corn. If you sow okra, you reap okra. But what happens if you sow nothing?

What if they found the body of Jesus in a tomb?
