TV With My Mom

This week on the podcast Mom couldn't decide if she wanted to talk about Yellowstone or the second season of The Sinner so she thought she would do both, but as usually happens on this podcast, we go on too many tangents and only get to Paramount's Yellowstone. We will talk about The Sinner next week. Enjoy!

This week Mom recaps Marvel's Cloak and Dagger for me. Hilarity ensues. Also, maybe some day I will post a bloopers episode of just all the things I have had to cut from the outros of our podcasts. We cannot make it through one without messing up. Enjoy!

This week on TV With My Mom, Mom and I get super nerdy this week talking about a fantasy/sci fi book series we read together when I was a kid that was butchered into a bad tv adaptation for MTV! There are also lots of weird background noises I'm not savvy enough to cut out of the episode, sorry about that. Guess what they are! Make it a game! Enjoy!

Late posting this week because I am a slacker. This week on the pod, I try to follow Mom down the caffeine rabbit hole as she gets really excited about the new Netflix true crime doc, Evil Genius. Seriously, she is all over the place this week. Enjoy!

This week on the pod, Mom and I talk about one of our favorite recent tv shows, The Vampire Diaries! We get way off track talking about a bunch of other stuff too, as per usual, and Mom has some really interesting bits of wisdom. 

This week we have a classic TV With My Mom recap episode where mom tells me all about a new show on ABC called The Crossing. I think she talked herself out of liking it giving me the synopsis, but you be the judge!

This week mom and I talk about the Netflix reboot of Lost in Space. We reminisce about her childhood watching the original show in the late 60s and my childhood watching the objectively bad movie remake from 1998 (that I actually loved as a kid). That weird buzzing you hear around minute 18 is me playing with the toy robot mom brought "for inspiration." Sorry!

We are a day late posting this episode about a show we said we would talk about three weeks ago. Sorry about that....This week on the pod, Mom and I dive in to Netflix's Wild Wild Country. We talk about a bunch of other cults as well as the movie Ordinary People for some reason. Enjoy!

This week on the pod, mom and I throw it way back to 1968 to talk about one of her favorite shows growing up, Land of the Giants! I make the interesting choice to do a bunch of weird accents and we get on a tangent about whether or not Planet of the Apes could ever happen in real life. Enjoy!

On this episode of TV With My Mom, Mom recaps a couple of the new shows she has been watching this season. She gives Freeform's Sirens the thumbs down and gives NBC's Good Girls the thumbs up! I also almost blow out her eardrums by not muting my email notifications. Sorry about that, ma.

This week mom and I are going boldly where everyone has already gone and talking about the classic sci fi series, Star Trek! We talk favorite captains, who we would "go bowling with," and lots of other random stuff. 

This week on the podcast mom and I talk about a failed pilot for a show called the WOD Diaries. Maybe skip this one if you don't want to hear about Crossfit...or my mom talking about porn. 

This week mom and I talk about one of our favorite shows, Gilmore Girls! We go over our favorite characters, Stars Hollow's festivals, and quotes from the show all about strong female relationships. Oy with the poodles already!!

This week on the pod, for unlucky episode 13, Mom and I get dark and political talking about the Hulu original The Handmaid's Tale. We still make each other laugh though so that's all that matters.

And now for something completely different: Mom recaps CNN's docuseries The Radical Story of Patty Hearst, who is not one of Marvel's Avengers. FYI.

This week mom and I spoil the crap out of season two of Netflix's Stranger Things. If you still haven't gotten around to watching it, be warned.
