This is HANDS DOWN the craziest and most sadistic version I've seen of Chucky on ANY screen, and that's my story I'm sticking to... This episode had more treats than a few so when I say I need season 2 already, I'm so serious. Bravo to Don Mancini and cast/crew for putting together what I think one CineManiac called "A Child's Play fan's wet dream". Enjoy, people.

Charles Lee Ray, from the very beginning, was one sick fucker... I never would've guessed that I'd enjoy seeing his flashbacks, or that he would just be SO damn nuts from the moments of his early childhood. There was going to be a time when Jared Leto came back to a comic book movie to prove people wrong about his Joker portrayal, and I think this is his moment here... This'll be the one to make people eat their words and ever question him as an actor overall. Shame he had to start using sonar and thirsting for blood to do so, but extremities are needed in Marvel at this point. Enjoy, y'all.

I said it once before, and I'll say it again... SyFy has a gem on their hands with this series, man. The idea of me weekly tuning in to a series based on a killer doll who's series ALMOST ran out of steam for me is so ironic. But I'm still here for it, and it seems to be getting better. This is always such a great watch for me, and I feel like this movie will one day get it's due amongst the G.O.A.T. horror flicks in the world... Because that's exactly what this is, and it may be top 25 for me. What started off as something talked about at work back when it was released became something major with how insanely Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon crafted this. Horror and humor is balance...

I went back a watched the original 1982 version of this once I was so annoyed by the news of the remake, and the poster... The original actually held up a hell of a lot better than I thought for yet another cheesy slasher flick. The sequels are straight up trash truck juice, so one could imagine the expectations I had for this overall. But I'm a fair man, so I decided to throw ALL expectations out...

I know little to nothing about Black Adam, except that he is very closely tied to Shazam... But I wasn't too crazy about that film in particular, so it was kind of weird that I was looking forward to this here.
