Normally I would be binging the series and maybe doing a recap to prepare for the new film this week but funny enough, Scream is the one series I've completely covered on this show... I've talked about this movie before about several episodes ago and how it surprised me, but I still didn't expect it to have the affect on me the way it did... When it comes to guilty pleasure movie franchises, Resident Evil has always been one of my favorites... Sure, they stray FAR from the tone and overall layout of the original games, but they damn sure are entertaining to watch in a silly way. Times like this during the holiday season makes me realize just how much I've missed Jack Frost on screen... By that, I mean nothing but Michael Keaton's version. At least that one had something going for it at heart, and looked a hell of a lot better after his transformation. There's some cool B-movie ideas here, but they just should've been in a better movie. How that makes sense is a mystery to...

As much as I was ready to see this, I'm now always prepared for whatever craziness comes my way from these guys... A big part of me takes pride talking about fellow PA locals like S.J. Doss and Nick Peetros who are big fans of the genre and cinema overall, so it makes these episodes much sweeter. Since I went in completely blind here, that's all I'll say about that. Enjoy, people.

This one always gets me right in the feels because of how natural of a fit the cast feels, and how the vibe of the film is overall... Let's keep it a bean here... There isn't a single franchise out here, be it horror or otherwise, that is perfect. Each one of them has made some pretty silly or downright stupid decisions. But these on my list hit differently, especially when I'm attached to the characters that these franchises seem to just not genuinely care about. Maybe there's hope for a bounce back, maybe not. But safe to say...
