Truth to Ponder

Where is your hope? In a politician, a leader, or is it in something far greater and eternal? Over the past generation, we have seen politics increasingly influence what should be matters of faith. It happened to both the left and the right. The left has embraced things that are forbidden in scripture and has taken down entire church bodies. The right often believes their politics is ordained by G...

The next two weeks are going to be incredibly busy as Bob prepares for major surgery that will sideline him for about 2 weeks. He is trying to get programs recorded ahead and contact a few people he would love to have as a guest host for a program or two. Keep Bob and his wife, Lori, in your prayers during this intense time. Now, do you believe in this ministry? If you do, you can keep us on the a...

It dawned on your host, Bob Biermann, the other night that many of the news stories on both the left and the right, from the mainstream media to the new alternate media is often “low-hanging fruit” and “rage” stories. These political stories dominate the news cycle day in and day out. What good is an overload of rage stories and politics? How much of our life should be invested in only a small par...

As we begin our 7th year, it is time to remind us of how we got to where we all are today, and how God has guided and protected this program from what has damaged the credibility of the many other programs. It seems that these podcasts, videos, and even some radio programs came out of nowhere over the past couple of years but, because of being too sensational and often incorrect, have started caus...

Today’s episode marks the 6th anniversary of “Truth to Ponder.” It was on a Monday, August 31st, that we began this radio program and podcast, and what a journey this has been. Today, Bob reminisces a bit about where we have been together and looks toward where God is leading this program going forward. The purpose of “Truth to Ponder” was never just about pushing fearful headlines and stories, bu...

Today’s episode marks 1560 complete episodes of “Truth to Ponder.” Monday, we enter our 7th year of broadcasting on shortwave radio and as a podcast. When the program started, we wondered if it would last 6 weeks. By God’s Grace and your support, we are here and looking forward to our 7th year. Today, Bob shares a few stories that you may have missed in recent weeks and why they are important. Now...

You may not recognize it, but 1996 was a very pivotal year for the world at large. Computers came of age, the internet was taking shape, satellite TV started to grow, and a major change in the Telecommunications Act changed radio, television, and cable in a dramatic way. It was more of a course change than most people remember. Those who were born after were very different than those who were born...

Last week, an American woman who converted to Islam 5 years ago walked into Home Depot wearing a full burka, goggles, and gloves and self-checked out a cart full of nails and materials for making a bomb. She intended to kill or injure legislators at the Statehouse in Albany, NY. How could this woman, a registered Democrat, fall for the Islamic lie? How could nobody notice such bizarre behavior? Wh...

In some parts of the northern hemisphere, many people are beginning to feel the upcoming change of seasons. The nighttime temperatures are beginning to cool, the days are beginning to get a bit shorter, and there is a new feeling in the air. Two-thirds of the year are now behind us, and what has been accomplished? There is a new uneasiness about the future. People are getting deeply concerned abou...

We live in a time that was unimaginable just 25 years ago. Men having babies, women becoming men, the definition of woman is fluid, and common sense is gone. Bob explains that what we are seeing is just ONE of many battles of an ongoing war against the plan of God. It is demonic at its core, and destructive to those involved in these delusions. Now, do you believe in this ministry? If you do, you...

Since the 7th Century, the core roots of Islam have been to conquer the world in the name of Islam. Islam is far more than a religion; it is a total interweaving of religion, government, and family. It is a religious cult which demands full adherence to ever be found worthy to reach paradise. It totally dominates every aspect of community and life. Yet for some reason, it has become the “accepted”...

When somebody mentions the words demon or anything demonic, how many of you think back to the classic 1973 movie, “The Exorcist.” While many people dismiss the movie as just pure Hollywood, there is much truth about this realm of demons we need to fully understand to make sense of this world today. Bob explains why, plus something very special on the second half you need to hear. Now, do you belie...

The Western world is awash with technology, labor-saving devices, connectivity, worldwide communications, and scientific breakthroughs unimaginable just 50 years ago. Then why are we so stressed out, medicated, and uncertain? Bob shares why on today’s program. Now, do you believe in this ministry? If you do, you can keep us on the air as a radio program and podcast by visiting our website. It is v...

Intellectual honesty demands facing the truth. There was a time when talk radio was a dominant force in swaying public opinion. The truth is those numbers are beginning to slide. Even shortwave radio had a huge impact on the world, but today in 2026, it is increasingly a diminishing and declining asset. Like it or not, the world has moved to podcasts and streaming, and those trends will only conti...

As our world heads to a day of destiny, it will not be one event that brings our downfall, but the convergence of many different things. Bob shares his thoughts on a few of the things that will be a part of this end-time scenario. Now, do you believe in this ministry? If you do, you can keep us on the air as a radio program and podcast by visiting our website. It is vastly more urgent than ever th...

From the mainstream media, the medical community, and much of government, our collective trust was destroyed in recent years by lies, coverups, a lack of holding the criminals accountable, and the systematic encroachment on our God-given liberties. Is that trust forever broken? Can it ever be restored? Can new political leadership fix these problems? Bob gives a truthful insight on that and more o...

Every day, many of us look at the news from our favorite sources. However, it seems the stories are just recycled. The same divisions, the same politics, the same lack of justice, the same bizarre behaviors being normalized, the same political divisions, and the same never-ending establishment control and diminishing freedoms. Is it worth reporting? And without an analysis, what is a story worth?...

Whether the issue is gay rights or affirming gender choices, the pathway to forced compliance and acceptance has been the same. Just like a subtle takeover of a nation, it is done slowly, methodically, and incrementally. Over time, new generations fully embrace the new normal and much of the older generation ceases to even care or fight. The same is true within the faith. Churches have permitted “...

Far too many people are not well-versed in history or theology to understand that they are falling for some very big lies. It has been said that the bigger the lie, the easier it is to get the masses to believe, or at least want to believe, the lie. Today’s new political and religious alliances prove the big lie may be winning in the Western world. Now, do you believe in this ministry? If you do,...

Earlier this year, the United States embarked on a plan to stop Iran from ever having a nuclear weapon, plus military hopes of ending the reign of terror the demonic government has had on its people and through its terror proxies, much of the western world. Now, the 6-week war is 6 months with no end in sight. Was there a miscalculation? Bob explains that when dealing with something biblical in na...

There is a divide between many well-meaning people regarding technology. Many shun all new technologies in fear of being spied upon; others embrace it for its potential in reaching far more people, and another group holds on to aging technology with the false hope it will be our salvation when things fail. Bob shares his thoughts on tech, the cottage industry of the news (which is now nothing more...

Between the Fauci Senate hearings, the wars in Ukraine and Iran, and the “do-nothing” Congress here in the United States, what have we learned? Since January of 2025, who has been arrested for the horrible things of the past decade? What phony politicians have been removed from office? Has our nation gotten any better? You know the answer if you’re intellectually honest. Nothing happens, and life...

Wednesday’s Senate hearing with Doctor Anthony Fauci was no surprise. Pleading the 5th, despite a full blanket presidential pardon, was the ultimate insult to the American People by America’s most “Sad Little Man.” What does this chapter in the COVID chronicles tell us? One thing it does is vindicate all of us who questioned the established narrative. Bob shares his thoughts after being a target h...

At the conclusion of the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, opera tenor Christopher Macchio performed the famous aria "Nessun Dorma". The song played as red, white, blue, and gold balloons dropped and Donald Trump was joined on stage by his family following his nomination acceptance speech. Was it real? Or was it just “trolling?” Bob shares some thoughts after two years. N...

It becomes more and more obvious each day that elections can never fix all that is wrong in our nation and world. The fix is in, and it has been for quite a while. It is our job to be salt and light and be prepared. Now, do you believe in this ministry? If you do, you can keep us on the air as a radio program and podcast by visiting our website. It is vastly more urgent than ever that you do. http...
