It’s February 26, 2015 Cairns Australia. Philip Quayle, 27, is found dead by a passer-by around 3.25am near the intersection of Spence and Taylor streets. Thug Jake Desmond Livingstone 19, just out of prison on parole, had attacked Philip knocking him to the ground and then held him in a headlock until Philips was dead.

On the 14th July 2015 Michael Cardamone is released on parole after serving around six years of a 9-year sentence for raping a 15-year-old girl. On the 12th January 2016, just 182 days later, Cardamone abducts and murders 49-year-old Karen Chetcuti. What happened on that night would shock the nation.

It’s the 10th January 2004. At an apartment block in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, residents complain about a bad smell that had been coming from the ground floor storeroom for some time. The building’s maintenance guy investigating the cause of the odour would make a shocking discovery.
