This week Jonny describes the dangers of Babylon depicted in Revelation, and explains the way in which Babylon remains as real as it ever was - surrounding us in our world today. Our world is not one centred on God, and in order to follow Him we must become acutely aware of the places devoid of HIs presence.

This week we take a short break from our Revelation series and explore together what it means to bring costly worship before God. We read the story of the woman and the alabaster jar, and in a service flipped on its head Jonny and Amy share with us their heart and their dream for the coming season.

We are excited to be entering into a four-part mini-series on the most significant signs and wonders in the book of Revelation. We kick off this week as Mark unpacks the story of the woman and the dragon, a profound image of the power of the devil as well as the all-consuming power of Christ which overcomes.

He is risen! On Easter Sunday we gather at Trinity to celebrate the truth and joy of Jesus’ resurrection, and we remind ourselves that we too, are called into resurrection life. Jonny unpacks this for us through the story of Lazarus.

This week Amy unpacks Revelation 5. From the agony of John’s longing for someone to reveal God’s plan, to the joy of the Lamb’s victory, Amy calls us to lean in to the powerful weakness of not being in control - all for the glory of God and the extension of His kingdom.

This week we read Revelation 4 together, in which John describes an image he has of the throne room of God. Jonny explores how these verses reflect a true depiction of what it is to worship God.

This week Amy Jones speaks to us about Jesus’ message to the church in Laodicea. In this final letter, Jesus speaks of how He despises the Church’s lukewarm faith. Amy explores this accusation of self-sufficiency and describes the beauty of the open door of dependence which Jesus lovingly invites to walk through in faith.

This week we explore together the letter to the Philadelphians. Mark unpacks for us how Jesus redefines Holiness with a radical invitation to the church. Here Holiness is depicted not as a standard of perfection to be attained but rather as an open door into which He gracefully invites us to walk into - the door into His presence. This week Jonny unpacks the letter to the church in Sardis in Revelation 3. He calls us to guard ourselves against sleep-walking through our faith - this season is a time to wake up to the active reality of God and His Kingdom.

This week we read Jesus’ message to the Church in Thyatira, in which He affirms their faith and perseverance, but calls them out on their obedience to the “spirit of Jezebel”. Jonny unpacks what Jezebel represents and how true fullness comes when we accept Jesus’ call us to follow Him and Him alone.

As we approach Lent as a church family, Amy camps out in Matthew 4, unpacking Jesus’ victory over the devil in the wilderness. The beauty of this passage is that Jesus has gone before us, we can lean on Him as our source of strength and vitality as we learn to depend on His unfailing, irrevocable love with our whole lives.

Jonny unpacks Jesus’ message to the Church in Pergamum.
