One of the great debates of the last century has been the relationship between science and faith; with many modern people believing that these two realms of thought are inherently opposed.

Jesus was raised to life by His Heavenly Father so that all who believe in Jesus might be deemed worthy of eternal life.  You are invited to embrace this never-ending life that Jesus has secured for you.

This somber worship experience reminds us that Jesus allowed himself to be deemed worthy of death—both by God’s people and even God Himself.  The penalty for our sin has been paid.  

Is Jesus worthy of praise?    When we gather for worship, we praise Jesus and call him our King.  Like the people waving palm branches, our praise  of  Jesus reveals our hopes  for  Jesus.  Because of this, it’s worth asking: What hopes and expectations do we have for Jesus? 

God’s forgiveness has paid the penalty we should have paid, and He has fully restored us to live a life of meaning, purpose, and fulfillment. The benefits of wisdom are countless. Just a brief survey of them can be found in the opening chapters of the book of Proverbs: insight, discretion, prudence, knowledge, peace, and prosperity, to name just a few. They lived in a world that was harsh; poverty, disease, disaster, and Roman oppression marked their days. They longed for God to send a promised Savior.
