Pastor Drew preaches from 1 John 5:13-21. We can know we have eternal life (Vs. 13). We can know God hears our prayers (Vs. 14-17). We can know victory (Vs. 18). We can know we belong to God (Vs. 19). We can know what is true (Vs. 20-21).

Pastor Drew takes us through 1 John 5:1-5 and points out the six marks of a Christian.

Pastor Drew takes us on an amazing journey through Psalm 139.13-16. God is our Creator. He owns everything (Yes, even us). He knit every one of us together within our mother's womb. We are fearfully and wonderfully made. 

Pastor Drew teaches from 1 John 4:7-12,18. Loving others shows evidence that not only do we know the gospel, but we have been changed by it. How much do you love people? How much do you sacrifice for people? How quickly do you forgive?

Pastor Drew takes us through 1 John 4:1-6. Truth mixed with error is far more affective than a straightforward contradiction of truth. Many false teachers have arisen and false truths have been preached that do not align with scripture. We must firmly hold to the truth within God's word that says Jesus (who is God) lived, died for our sins, rose again, and is returning to judge the world in righte...

Pastor Drew preaches from 1 John 3:19-24 and tells us that service to others often moves us to the ordinary and trivial. It takes place in the margins and not in the spotlight. The gospel shapes how, when, and whom I serve.

Pastor Drew takes us through 1 John 3:11-18. He reminds us that love which is not sacrificial is not really love at all. People are our mission and we need to build our lives around those who are far from God.

Pastor Drew talks about 2 effects of the new birth from 1 John 3. The first is that we do not practice sin (Vs. 9).  The second is that we love one another (Vs. 10).

Pastor Drew Erickson reminds us that being heavenly minded makes us fit for being earthly good. When we see what we will become tomorrow, it will change how we live today. Our hope for the future enables us to pursue God's best in the present.

One difference between churches that grow and those that do not is an urgency for people to hear the gospel. Pastor Drew Erickson tells us that the greatest danger of the church is within not without. He asks us, "How urgent is the Gospel in your life and who have you told?".

Pastor Drew Erickson brings us back to the foundation of directing our affections to something so much greater than anything this world can offer. The Puritans called it the expulsive power of a new affection. The way we overcome smaller cravings is by replacing them with larger ones. It's not that our attraction to sin is too strong, it's that our love for God is too weak.
