The King is here, and it’s our job to announce his arrival! This week we look at Matthew 10:5-7 and see that, while most of us get sweaty palms when we think about evangelism, there are some simple skills we can learn that will help us spread the joy of the Kingdom.

Here’s a brain teaser for you: What do a small business owner, a young family man, a corporate sellout, a right wing extremist, an analytical skeptic, and you all have in common? How do you respond emotionally when you see people doing or saying something dumb—Fear? Outrage? This week we see in Matthew 10:35-38 that Jesus responds with compassion. And his compassion is the foundation of his Mission and our prayers.

What is the biggest problem with the human condition? Every worldview tries to respond to this question, but only Jesus has the true answer. This week we discover what that answer is in Matthew 9:35-36, and, while it's NOT flattering, it gives us HOPE for ourselves and the people around us.

In order to be disciple makers, we have to first be worshipers. Sunday morning is where we come into the king’s throne room and offer ourselves before Him. In this podcast series, we'll explore what it means to Worship The King, covering topics including communion, families worshipping together, choosing songs, and more.

Is it possible that you are not becoming more like Jesus but rather making Jesus more like yourself? This week we kick off our new series on Matthew 10 by discussing how we should approach the teachings of Jesus in order to make sure we are being formed in His image and not the other way around.

Jesus the Christ has been a polarizing figure from the beginning. You must either bow to Him as your King or oppose Him and try to control your own life. Which will you choose?

We prepare our hearts for Christmas by diving into Matthew 1 and asking the question, “What does the word ‘Christ’ actually mean?” Join us this week as we learn that “Christ” is not Jesus’s last name and discuss the real way for disciples of Jesus to put the Christ back into Christmas.

GOD is for His people. But sometimes before he can fight FOR you, he has to fight WITH you. Join us Sunday as we look at Jacob’s royal rumble with GOD in Genesis 32:22-32. It turns out walking with a limp might actually be a good thing!?

What scares you? In Genesis 32:1-21, Jacob is forced to face his worst fear as he returns to his home country. And believe it or not, he is actually a pretty good example of how to pray when we are faced with fear and uncertainty!

Do you ever feel rejected or unloved? Leah was the ugly sister. Her husband Jacob didn’t love her or want her. But GOD does. Join us this Sunday as we look at Genesis 29:31-30:24. We will see that GOD picks the people that nobody wants and how we can boldly bring our desires before GOD.

What do you do when you encounter a difficult person? Join us this Sunday as we study Genesis 29:1-30, where Jacob faces a man who gives him a taste of his own deceptive medicine. We will see how GOD uses Jacob’s nemesis to discipline him and show him that GOD’s blessings are a free gift.
