In this opening sermon on the book of Exodus, we’ll be exploring the background of this book and how Israel grew in numbers in Egypt and started being oppressed to the point of becoming slaves, and how oppression just brought more multiplication and strength to this people. What would Jesus say in a conversation about the miracles he performed? John 3 allows us to listen in on just such a conversation between Jesus and a man named Nicodemus.
