In the late 70's MEGO wanted to give us something fun and innovative to play with, what we got was Micronauts. This intersting line only lasted 5 years, but the toys we got from it were ...... weird. We dive in and give you a good look at each of the series and tell you all about the origins.

From the minds of Lucasfilm and Tonka, in the 80's we got a line of figures that went along with the epic adventure movie of Willow. These figures, non-posable and attached to a base, were probably the best game figures ever, but not quite what we needed from this amazing movie.

This week we get to follow a group of mice who ride bikes and defend any planet they land on. Galoob released this line in 1993 and along with a weekly cartoon, we all enjoyed watching and playing with the Biker Mice from Mars!

Learning history was never more fun after Pleasant Company starting releasing American Girl dolls. Each of these dolls had an American background that would allow you to learn and play at the same time.

When farm animals and radioactive materials combine, we get Barnyard Commandos. We are joined by one of the Dorksmen this week to dive into one crazy line from Playmates right at the turn of the decade.

With the success of the movie and the cartoon, Kenner took the Police Academy characters and created a whole line that embraces the characteristics for each of them. Come and learn about one of the funnest lines we have talked about.

Another line from Kenner, in the time of all toy lines get cartoons, we have the Sky Commanders. This small run on toys had a gimmick, as most of them did, that was different and probably helped to fuel many peoples love of zip-lines as adults.

The year was 1993 and the world didn't have enough stuffed animals, so enter Ty Warner and Ty Inc to save the day. The world caught on to this fad and everybody you know had one, if not a whole collection of them. This is their story.

In 1981, MEGO releases a small line of action figures based on one of the biggest shows of the past couple of years. With some plastic and orange paint, they would release what would be one of their last toy lines for The Dukes of Hazzard.

The year was 1987 and General Mc-Anther's Army Ant Forces were waging war against the forces of General Patant. Who wins? Well thats your choice with this line. Hasbro developed and released this micro line much like the M.U.S.C.L.E. and Monster in My Pocket lines. Simple and small, that was the name of the game.

Released the year before Hasbro's Transformers, the GoBots were the FIRST transforming car/robots to hit the shelves. Listen as we discuss the robots that came from Japan and tried to get a leg ahead of the Transformers, but it just wouldn't work.
