Tough Gig Comedy Podcast

Lou is back in the game doing her tour show in Stafford and tour support in Burnley. Whilst Eddy has a nightmare audition in London, gigs with Lou in Bicester, and tells of how a window cleaner nearly died in his garden.

WARNING: This is a very "windy" episode! Whilst Lou has a restful week, Eddy travels to Bolton, Birmingham, and Durham where he meets a man who burns animals for a living. Thankfully they have aready passed on.

This weeks episode comes from our bed. We talk Edinburgh PR, pickled eggs and bowel movements. Oh and there were gigs in Skegness, Sheffield, Warrington, Wigan, and Chipping Sodbury.

Gigs at the legendery Lescar in Sheffield and in Liverpool for Eddy, where he has to deal with a fan of Hitler and explain what bum-beads are to a 40 year old. Lou heads to Nottingham, and down to London for some recording at The BBC.

It's been an up and down week for Eddy ending with a beauty of a gig on Sunday afternoon. Lou plays the last weekend at Hot Water's Hardman Street venue. And Eddy's leg to body size ratio comes into question.

We're back from honeymoon and on the road again. Lou hits Scotland doing tour support. Eddy racks up the miles and gets to plays one of the best independant comedy clubs in the UK. And along the way he gets to watch a masterclass in how it's done from Carey Marx.

Lou takes her tour to a very lively Huddersfield. Apologies where apologies are due. And Eddy nearly loses an eye in a chilli challenge.

We're back after our wedding. And it's straight on it as Lou decided to book gigs rather than go on honeymoon! We both have solo shows in Stourbridge, and head in different directions for gigs in Wales, Bristol, Nantwich and Darlington. We also eat a lot of cheese.

This week Lou continues her tour, whilst Eddy puts the miles in. We talk road rage and the dreaded cancel culture as for the first time ever Eddy finds himself a victim. It's a funny old game this comedy lark ... Well, it should be!

This week Lou starts her first ever UK tour. Eddy's on the road again, including major tour support in Bath. And we talk about the comedians that have really changed the industry here in the UK over the past 20 years.

This week Eddy gets to work with some great new comedians in Bristol. Lou piles in on a young lad and his new Step Mum as she returns for another run at The Comedy Store London. And old twats with money make for a hard gig near Manchester.

This week Lou and Eddy talk about getting booked for The Comedy Store. Lou's limited attention span. And fun gigs in the arse end of nowhere.

This week Eddy and Lou talk about major tour support, the importance of comedy and dealing with aggressive hecklers.

This week Eddy's gigs have him travel over 1000 miles. Lou has a run of nights in Manchester. We both work with some great established and newer acts ... Oh, and Eddy also has a finger up his bum ... Yes, that is correct. It's been some week.
