An excellent result at the AMEX that got us a point at home to champions Liverpool. Plenty of work for VAR to do too, and it did it well! This week I am joined by Matt, an Albion fan to go over the game, VAR and Potter.

Villa, unbeaten in 12 home games against Brighton. Welbeck, unbeaten in 8 games against Villa. Something had to give, and it was Grealish and friends that bowed down to dat guy Welbeck. A great result post international break and one we desperately needed with Liverpool on the horizon!

VAR was consistently terrible this week, getting all 3 big decisions wrong in my view. This week I cover the Spurs game with stats, review and a look at some tactical decisions from set pieces that may lead to unfair judgements against some players. All this and more on episode 99!

I can change the ? to a ! because we are now mathematically safe! A dull, quite awful game against two teams that looked on the beach produced what was to us a vital point. 38 on the board, 1 game to go, and a very very interesting transfer window to come... 

Here we are, all but mathematically safe now! A solid draw away at Southampton has proven to probably be enough. A classic little and large job did the business for Potter and the club can now probably start preparing in earnest for next year! Brutal to watch the Albion in the last 7 days. A decent performance but deserved defeat at Liverpool followed by an utterly embarrassing performance against Manchester City made this week to forget, and to be thankful for points earned against Arsenal and Norwich. 

36 points! Is it going to be enough? Well judging from the results around us it is looking more and more likely that it will be. Another VITAL post restart win for the Albion now delivering 7 points from a possible 12 and a serious turn in fortunes. Norwich, Liverpool, bottom 6 and new contracts all covered in episode 85!

Manchester United was a game to forget, meeting a team in such good form was always going to end badly for the Albion, especially with that starting XI and formation! We take a look at transfer rumours, the United game and a look ahead to Norwich on Saturday for our most important game of the season so far. 

Wait 105 days for our first game back, have 2 in quick succession then a week off! Having a week off with 4 points in the bag is massive though, and we get to watch those around us do their thing without as much pressure as we had in March. Leicester review and more in this episode!

Brighton are back! After 105 days without a blue and white striped shirt in sight we return with a Potter masterclass and our first Premier League double over Arsenal. Match analysis, thoughts on the game as well as a brief look forward to the final run in!
