April 16, 2025, Wednesday of Holy Week, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 16.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Today ends the official Lenten period. Tomorrow, we enter the Holy Triduum, the three great liturgical days: Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday. Wednesday of Holy Week, traditionally known as Spy Wednesday, reminds us of Judas's treachery, who bargained with the high priest to betray Jesus for thirty silver pieces (Matt 26:14-16; Mark 14:10-11; Luke 22:1-6). T...

April 15, 2025, Tuesday of Holy Week, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 15.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, In today’s Gospel reading (John 13:21-33, 36-38), we see Christ, the Suffering Servant of the Lord, in the Last Supper with Judas Iscariot present, when Satan entered the betrayer. Jesus, deeply troubled, announces that one of the Twelve will betray Him and that even Peter will repeatedly disown Him. ( “I say to you, the cock will not crow before you deny me three times.” )...

April 14, 2025, Monday of Holy Week, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 14.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, This Holy Week, we must admit our sins and reconcile with God. Sin blinds the soul and impedes love and generosity. We must die in our sinfulness to rise with Him, the sinless one, our light and our way. Our salvation depends on following Him and His forgiving love. Yesterday’s liturgy, with the procession of the Palms, was beyond symbolism, beyond a mere memory; for we were...

April 13, 2025, Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 13.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Today is Palm Sunday, the feast of the Lord’s Passion, the beginning of the solemnity of Holy Week. It commemorates Christ’s entry into Jerusalem to complete the Paschal Mystery. We enter the holiest part of Lent, with the Passion and the Resurrection, with the Cross as the way to Easter victory, with the sacred passion of Christ as a prerequisite to Easter’s glory. During t...

April 12, 2025, Saturday of the Fifth Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 12.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Today, on the eve of Palm Sunday, before the Holy Week begins, we continue praying from Las Vegas as good warriors of the Lord. As happened in Jesus's biblical times, and as we read this week in the Gospel, for unbelievers and evildoers, nothing proves the goodness of the Lord. Trapped in their sin, blocked by their ignorance and arrogance, they will always reject the my...

April 11, 2025, Friday of Sorrows, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 11.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Today, before the Holy Week begins, the Catholic Church in various countries, following the Roman Rite, observes the devotion of Friday of Sorrows, or ‘Passion Friday’, Viernes de Dolores in Spanish. Spanish-speaking countries, and particularly the Philippines, hold processions on this day to honor the Seven Sorrows of Mary. Currently, the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows is pai...

April 10, 2025, Thursday in the Fifth Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Luminous Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 10.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Keeping the word of Jesus leads us to life and sets us free. The Gospel readings towards the end of Lent show, one scene after the other, the mounting hatred towards Our Lord while He was teaching about the Kingdom. To the Jews, the Lord said at that time, as we read today in the Gospel of John, “Whoever keeps my word will never taste death.” However, far from acknowledging...

April 9, 2025, Wednesday in the Fifth Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 09.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Jesus said to those Jews who believed in him (John 8:31-42), "If you remain in my word, you will truly be my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." His listeners, indignant, responded, "We are descendants of Abraham and have never been enslaved to anyone. How can you say, 'You will become free'?" Jesus answered them, "Amen, amen, I say to y...

April 8, 2025, Tuesday in the Fifth Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 08.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, As we read today in the Gospel (John 8:21-30), the division between Jesus and His enemies becomes more critical, sharper. During His mortal life, Jesus's Divinity was hidden under the veil of His Humanity. Even for those who lived with Him, His Divinity was an object of faith. They witnessed works that, as they acknowledged, God alone could do. But they saw, too, that Christ...

April 7, 2025, Monday in the Fifth Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 07.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, As we read today in the Gospel (John 8:12-20), Jesus spoke to the Pharisees, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” This week, the Gospel of John continues to give us insight into Jesus’ suffering soul. Christ’s total self-surrender on our behalf, consummated on the Cross, will culminate on Holy F...

April 6, 2025, Fifth Sunday of Lent, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 06.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, On this fifth Sunday of Lent, the final Sunday before Holy Week and sometimes referred to as “Passion Sunday,” we reflect on the mystery of forgiveness. Lord Jesus shows his merciful love and offers us his forgiveness, as He did with the woman caught in adultery. Like us, the woman was given a new life with Christ, who said, "Go, and from now on do not sin any more.&quo...

April 5, 2025, Saturday of the Fourth Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary 05.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, In today’s Gospel (John 7:40-53), we read how the guards listened to Jesus' words and, moved, refrained from bringing Jesus to the chief priests and the Pharisees. Nicodemus, one of their members who had come to Christ Jesus earlier, said to them: “Does our law condemn a man before it first hears him and finds out what he is doing?” At that time — as it does today — Jesu...

April 4, 2025, Friday of the Fourth Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary 04.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, At the Rosary Network community, we continue praying without ceasing. That’s the way to build the Kingdom and change the world. On this first Friday of the month, in the fourth week of Lent, we see the Jews trying to arrest Our Lord, condemning Him to a shameful death. It’s the blindness of the wicked. It also reminds us of the Cross of Christ, showing that our glory is not...

April 3, 2025, Thursday of the Fourth Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Luminous Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary 03.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, “You do not want to come to me to have life,” said Christ Jesus at that time to the Jews (John 5:31–47) We sadly prefer human testimony, as our pride confuses us. We are incapable of seeing the humility of the logos. “I came in the name of my Father, but you do not accept me; yet if another comes in his own name, you will accept him. How can you believe, when you accept pra...

April 2, 2025, Wednesday of the Fourth Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 02.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Christ Jesus explained at that time to the Jews that the Son does all in conjunction with the Father, as He is equal to God. “For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything that he himself does, and he will show him greater works than these, so that you may be amazed. For just as the Father raises the dead and gives life, so also does the Son give life to whomever he...

April 1, 2025, Tuesday of the Fourth Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 01.04.2025

Friends of the Rosary, "Do you want to be well?"  Christ Jesus asked this question to the sick who had been ill for thirty-eight years at the gate of the pool in Jerusalem, as we are reading today in the Gospel of John 5:1-16. It's the same question that Our Lord is asking each of us. Like the sick man, we might feel trapped in our sinful condition, believing that our disease is inev...

March 31, 2025, Monday of the Fourth Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 31.03.2025

Friends of the Rosary, As a continuation of yesterday’s Laetare Sunday joyful spirit, today we read in the Gospel (John 4:43-54) how Jesus cured the son of a royal official in Capernaum. "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will not believe." Tomorrow, and during the next two weeks, the Gospel's main readings will be from St. John. Day after day, we will read about the growing hostility a...

March 30, 2025, Fourth Sunday of Lent, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 30.03.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Today, the Fourth Sunday of Lent, is Laetare Sunday , an anticipation of the joy of Easter. Traditionally, this Sunday has been a celebration within the austere period of Lent of penance and sorrow. On the third Sunday of Advent, we had Gaudete Sunday, feeling the thrill and joy of Christmas. In Lent, we have a Sunday called  Laetare  (rejoice), foretasting the divine grace...

March 29, 2025, Saturday of the Third Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 29.03.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Says the Lord, "Everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and the one who humbles himself will be exalted." In today's Gospel (Luke 18:9-14), Jesus tells us of the Pharisee and the tax collector—righteous and unrighteous—who enter the temple to pray. The teaching is clear: Those who are proud of themselves, convinced of their righteousness, and despise every...

March 28, 2025, Friday of the Third Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 28.03.2025

Friends of the Rosary, In loving God, we love everything God sustains, including all humans. In today’s Gospel, Jesus explains the first two commandments for accessing the Kingdom of Heaven. The whole law depends on these two commandments: loving God with everything you have and loving your neighbor as yourself. He said, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your sou...

March 27, 2025, Thursday of the Third Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Luminous Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 27.03.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Today, the mid-point of Lent, we continue spiritually strengthening ourselves, following the invitation to be faithful to God and never fall away. In today’s Gospel (Luke 11:14-23), we see Jesus driving out the demon of a possessed person. But then, our Lord is immediately accused of being in league with Satan. The Prince of Darkness is always one of scattering, pushing the...

March 26, 2025, Thursday of the Third Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 26.03.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Our fidelity to the Lord is not measured in the number or grandeur of our deeds but in our conformity to his divine will. Mary, as the handmaid of the Lord, showed no limit in her affiliation. The “Word of God became flesh and made his dwelling” in Mary, who loved and lived that word. She offered herself so that Christ might offer himself. Through her maternity, we too have...

March 25, 2025, Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 25.03.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Today, amid the Lent’s austerity, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, the most sublime moment in the history of time, when the Second Person of the Holy Trinity assumed human nature in the womb of the Virgin Mary. At midnight, when the most holy Virgin was alone and absorbed in prayer, the Archangel Gabriel appeared before her and asked her to consent...

March 24, 2025, Monday of the Third Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 24.03.2025

Friends of the Rosary, While we were still sinners, God proved his love for us through Christ dying for us on a death in the cross. In yesterday’s Gospel, Jesus told the parable of the fig tree, signifying that the Lord expects us to bear spiritual fruit. After all, this is the consequence of the Spirit’s presence in us. The Spirit is this stream; when planted near it, we blossom. And what are the...

March 23, 2025, Third Sunday of Lent, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries) | Fifth Anniversary of the Rosary Network 23.03.2025

Friends of the Rosary, Today, the Third Sunday of Lent, the Gospel teaches us about the “living water.” (John 4:5-42) The Lord addresses the baptized people through his dialogue with the Samaritan woman from whom He asks for a drink of water. Christ Jesus says to her:  “Whoever drinks the water I shall give will never thirst; the water I shall give will become in him a spring of water welling up t...
