Wow. The week after conference championship games should have been light on news. The games were great and that would have been enough, but then the news gods honored us with more. Washington takes a new name, and they should have listened to the 21 year old intern in the corner. C'mon man. Tom Brady finally heads off into his Avocado-tinted sunset. And, there was a little lawsuit filed by a forme...

Ok, We each went 3-1 this weekend. Drew missed on the Rams, and Brother Bob missed on the Chiefs. 3-1 is stout. So let's see what happens this weekend. This weekend's NFL games were EPIC folks. Go watch the highlights. If you are a Packer fan, maybe something to relax you first, though. If you are a Bills fan, take all the coins in your sock drawer and through them out.

We all know that the NFL rules the roost, and we are no different. So we recap our thoughts from the Wildcard Weekend. Sorry, Super Wildcard Weekend. And then we take our hand on picking the slate of Divisional Games. We do touch a little on the MBL Lockout and where we think it may go and that we are now worried.

Yep, we had it folks. Back in early September we called Georgia, and we have proof. Maybe next year we will put money on it. What a great CFP Championship. Talking about great, how about the last week of the NFL. What craziness, including a potential lie down tie for a playoff berth. And we talk about the upcoming games. Let's see how we do.

Jeff hates college football. Yes, he said it. But listen first and tell me you don't agree with him. We do a quick watch of one of Bob's favorite YouTube channels, SEC shorts, as Georgia tries to get some help on beating Alabama. Antonio Brown has a meltdown and we disagree whether we will see him again lace up his clears. We are on a new time, so reset your calendar if you want to watch us live....

We pay tribute to a legend in football. From coaching to broadcast to video games, John Madden was a legend. He will be missed. Then we get into a heated discussion about the CFP. We pick Alabama to crush Cincinnati and cover the spread. And then we have some disagreement about Michigan-Georgia. And then we talk a little about the NFL.

This week we spend a bunch of time talking about the crazy college coaching carousel. Riley gets a private jet, Kelly gets a chance at a championship and Bob Stoops is back? Oh My?!!! We talk a little about the first work stoppage / lockout in baseball since the mid 90'2, even as owners spend over a BILLION dollars on free agents.

This week on To The Max, Drew flies solo as Max was a late minute scratch. We talk wwith Cody Roberson of Army Bass Anglers joins us on a real phone. We talk about TB12, Drew still takes some potshots at the Cowboys. Oh, and we attempted our take on the heat coming down on Jon Gruden.

Max and Drew take a week off to get ready for the MLB playoffs and the show gets taken over... by a monkey. Timmy returns after his triumphant pick of the Patriots and the points and takes us down memory lane to review where we have gone.
