To Know the Love of Christ
To Know the Love of Christ
To know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge is one of the things that the apostle Paul prayed about for the Christians in Ephesus. It is something that we should strive for, also. That is why this podcast is called "To Know the Love of Christ." In each episode, we will study scripture in its context but also dive deep to find the love of Christ, a love so fervent, so honest, and so faithful that it is the very essence of His being. We invite you "To Know the Love of Christ."

When we met John the Baptist in chapter 1, he was preparing the way for Jesus. Some who heard the truth of God's word readily accepted and believed. Others, however, were enraged with what he had to say to the point that they did whatever they deemed fit. These verses show us the dark side of an evil heart but also the power of the truth on the heart. In this flashback, there's dancing, debauchery...

S2E9 - Mark 5:21-43 30.05.2022 35:56
What a difference 12 years makes! It can go from dreadful to joyful in a matter of faithful moments. Are we guilty of letting it get to the point of desperation before we seek the Lord's help? "If it's small enough to worry about, it's big enough to pray about" - do you agree?

S2E7 - Mark 4:21-34 16.05.2022 29:32

Sabbath practices and fasting come into question. Traditions are challenged. Why, why, why? Jesus answers their questions with questions: one with a parable, the other with a more definitive answer, but both with authority.
