Jerry
To Hear Me Tell It
Travel back in times with Jerry Daniels, as he shares his stories (To Hear Him Tell It), of being raised in Butler GA as the son of a small town Grocery Man. He up and runs off to enlist in the Navy, where he serves some 26 years before moving back to America with his wife of 35 years and children. Jerry flavors his stories with a bit of Lewis Grizzard and Jeff Foxworthy, but tell his stories in such a way that will make you have flashbacks and leave you laughing and shaking your head.

Our President, Donald J Trump ain't holding back,...America First 01.02.2025 29:03
Send us Fan Mail Sorry folks for the delay. I have fallen terribly ill, as I have contracted Influenza Type "A," and it's kicking my butt. Not much of a Podcast this week. A brief update on the bees, and a titch of current events, mainly the two aviation accidents, both being horrifically tragic. I pray for the victims and the families and others who will have to find peace in a...

The year was 1815: what happened 210 years ago today 08.01.2025 34:44
Send us Fan Mail What happened some 210 years ago today (8 Jan. 1815). Was this famous Battle really even necessary? I'm sure for the thousands of men killed or wounded, it would have been nice to know that an Official Treaty had been signed some two weeks earlier that would have prevented the Battle. But the rest is history. Take trip to learn a brief part of our American History, the War...
Why is 1 January the day of the year we celebrate the beginning of a new year? 01.01.2025 23:15
Send us Fan Mail Who came up with celebrating the new year on 1 January? Well, for every person who listens to this, it's always been 1 January, but why that day? Not a historian by any means, but dating back to some 2000 BC and even further back for the Chinese, the beginning of a new year has gone through a few changes which means it's been tossed around a bit from century to centu...
White Christmas, the song and movie are an American Classic 25.12.2024 35:34
Send us Fan Mail The movie White Christmas can't be discussed without first talking about the song White Christmas. Who wrote the song, when was it written, and where was the song writer when he wrote the song? What other songs did he write that we're familiar with? When was the song first sang in public? Who sang it? When was it first recorded to a record? Had it been sung previou...
The 18th of December 1620 was a long time ago 18.12.2024 40:10
Send us Fan Mail More about the Mayflower and the ventures of the 102 passengers. Why were they exiled from England? Who were the "Strangers" who made up some 50% of the 102? Why were English Merchants the ones funding their exploration? Where did the Native American Indians learn to speak English? Don't think about shooting at drones,.....they are most likely a FAA Registered A...

He died at his sister's house in Denver CO. His wife died some four years later in 1921. William Cody left home at age eleven, and his life was truly amazing to say the least. His life, as many pr...
Best Buy damn sure wasn't the Best Experience 06.12.2024 53:51
Send us Fan Mail When it rains, it pours. Yesterday was yet another example of what WOKE has done to America Retail. Where do they find these people? I should have just rubbed alcohol in my eyes.
Some truths about Thanksgiving and Illegal Immigrants dont know Dental Insurance 27.11.2024 1:14:49
Send us Fan Mail Today's episode is preference with the reality of the fact, these millions of illegal immigrants don't have to deal the Healthcare Insurance plans, and they damn sure don't have to become familiar with such matters of PPOs, Open Enrollments Periods, Co-Pay, nor In or Out of Networks. I'm pissed to say the least, as are too millions of Americans. And surprisin...
The word Knee is spelled with a K, and Jack Smith knows it 20.11.2024 27:06
Send us Fan Mail I take no pride is sharing that I failed the ninth grade, and barely graduated as a D minus student at Taylor County High School. English and spelling were not my strong points, and the truth be told other than recess and gym, I didn't excel at anything. Then Coach Jack Smith hit a nerve with me one day, as I had to write something on some papers which was on the hood of a c...
Georgia has "earned" the title as the Nation's Judicial Hellhole of America 13.11.2024 46:31
Send us Fan Mail BLUF: Bottom Line Up Front: Contact your State Representatives and DEMAND they enact a wide sweeping hardline comprehensive Tort Law Reform, and do it now. Waiting for another so-called "session" is not an option. Ever wonder why our insurance is so damn high? Ever wonder why some products are less expensive by simply crossing a state line? Yep, Georgia is now ranked...

Three Georgia Boys on a Navy Carrier, Bill Short saved us 30.10.2024 40:39
Send us Fan Mail Hindsight is indeed 20/20. Looking back I can see so many times God was instrumental in helping me find my way. So many times I see clearly now where God paved the way for me and my family. Hearing Tommy Short for years ask me if I knew or had met his brother who too was in the Navy, and the answer was always; "no I've never met your brother." Well that all chang...
That don't look like him 23.10.2024 40:33
Send us Fan Mail Forrest Gump said: "shit happens." And shit does indeed happen. Imagine going to the funeral home to pre-review the body of a loved one before the public viewing, and you immediately realize that ain't your Daddy. Yes sir, the folks at the Boyd Funeral Home in Camden New Jersey did just that. What they failed to do was to take ownership of their mistake, but rath...
The World could use less Dyllweeds 16.10.2024 1:01:51
Send us Fan Mail Best Buy? There was nothing "Best" about going to Best Buy this week. The Best part of going to Best Buy was when I finally got the hell out of there. The Sales Rep on the floor was utterly and completely lost. The damn boy can't comb his hair after his mommy wakes him up to go to work. Selling expensive electronics isn't the time to play "I think I kno...

Send us Fan Mail The contrast between the reactive news coverage by the Liberal News outlets and Talk Shows, and the generosity being put forth to the Appalachian's impacted by the storm effects from Hurricane Helene is as different between black and white. Just pointing out the elephant in the room. The number of celebrities and Hollywood Elites who came running to the poor Democrat contro...
It's NOT about Trump the man 02.10.2024 43:52
Send us Fan Mail I've come to the conclusion that the Trump "haters" can't figure out why we behind (supporting) Donald J. Trump. They believe it's about the man himself, which aint' the case at all. Liberals can't grasp the fact we Deplorables are deeply convicted in our principles and values of being a true Constitutional Conservative. They fail to fully unde...
Who really benefits from Self Checkout Lanes 25.09.2024 35:50
Send us Fan Mail When we they start giving a discount if you check yourself out and bag all your groceries? Self Checkout is BS! Pretty soon we'll be asked to bring our own shopping cars. Then we'll be asked to go back in the stockroom to find the products in large boxes when it's not stocked on the shelves. Customer Service is utterly gone at Walmart! Bob Daniels, Floyd Brewer, To...
Damn them Insurance Companies! 18.09.2024 29:41
Send us Fan Mail Like Lawyers,.....ain't worth nothing till you need one. Damn these Insurance companies! With little to no regulations, they keep raising the rates (premiums). Their claim is; "everything cost more today." Well no shit! But who suffers and feels the pain? The Insured, not the Investors. Trust me when I say; "we're going to see a lot more people drivi...

Send us Fan Mail Nine-Eleven is a day I shall never forget. It is a day that is forever burned into my memory. Right up there with the moment I met my wife, the day we married, the two times she gave birth to our wonderful children, the day I pinned on my Chief Petty Officer Anchors, or the day I retired from the Navy. But 12 October 2000 is also a day I shall never forget. This day too is bur...
Warm wine from a Sippy-Cup with a nipple 04.09.2024 37:04
Send us Fan Mail Never did I ever think I'd succumb to throwing back warm wine from a foo-foo artsie drinking cup that was basically a Snippy-Cup with a flexible retractable nipple. An outdoor concert turned out to be absolutely awesome. If ever you get the chance to hear and see SkynFolk,....by all means do so. And, why are some still wearing the Fake Chinese Covid virus face-masks? And th...
Harris is hiding like Biden, so who is running the country? 28.08.2024 35:31
Send us Fan Mail Been thirty-seven days since the DNC stole the constitutional democratic process from their sheep, whereby appointing Cameltoe Harris as "their" black girl, even though they can't define what a girl is, and she ain't black, unless she needs to be that is. As of today, Joey Squirts is still on vacation again stealing the taxpayers dollars, and Cameltoe is nowher...
The Great Flight Deck crew from the USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN71 21.08.2024 31:33
Send us Fan Mail Serving with great US Navy Sailors was but one of the many honors that was bestowed upon me. My years aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt, CVN 71 taught me a lot. I had the opportunity to serve along side and work with some really great Americans. That said, I also had to opportunity to witness first hand some of the absolute worst leadership EVER. But, focusing on the positive,...
