Friends are integral to our lives. They're often the family we choose and with us for mundane moments and transformative milestones. Whether you've connected during childhood, at work, or through common interest, great friendships help us live longer (seven years longer, on average), make us happier, and support our best selves. At least, they should.

People do stupid things in their 20’s. God knows we did. But despite what people say, some people do change. We have made our fair share of mistakes in life and with that being said, we have been able to turn things around and learn a couple of things along the way.  

When you understand your “why” (or your purpose) that you’ll be more capable of pursuing the things that give you fulfillment. It will serve as your point of reference for all your actions and decisions from this moment on, allowing you to measure your progress and know when you have met your goals.

In our digital world of tweets, pokes and pings, it’s easy to forget about the basics of etiquette. After all, when you can do just about anything with a click of a button, from banking to shopping to dating – the time spent practicing real, face-to-face relationships can take a toll. We’ve been thinking about this for a minute now   

Being creative is a sticky one you know the vibes. It’s tough to sift through the creative block and get those juices flowing. Sometimes you look at your peers produce a huge body of work at an alarming pace it is easy to feel paralyzed. 

Ah yes, we have just entered the 4th quarter of the year, we want to just take a break and assess where we are at and how things are going. The positives, negatives along everything in between. 

It is a phrase that has become rather popular and today we unpack whether or not this phrase stands true, where to apply it and if we really wanted to, would he have done it. 

Every day you get a finite amount of energy to spend. How you choose to spend the currency that is energy is up to you. We have actively had to look at our lives and assess what has been going on and why we were so drained and what we did about it. 

This is a difficult one to navigate because obviously anything creative/or artistic is subjective right? However when you enter the space your analysis and critique of others becomes a lot more measured. 

We’ve tried to resolve it; we’ve confronted the other party; we’ve talked to friends; we’ve pleaded our case before a judge or jury, but no one listens to our side of the story. No one sees things the way we do. Perhaps the whole world is insensitive. Perhaps no one cares. Perhaps, but often there is another reason our story is ignored or misinterpreted: we’re simply not telling it right.

W e have all been victim of this. Building anticipation, sleepless nights, sweaty palms, erratic heartbeat and then boom it happens, and you are left shaking your head in disappointment. Working with the homies can be a sticky one. We all like different things, we all have the aptitude for different things so how do we ensure that the whole team is winning, or is this just a Hollywood fantasy?
