The Apostle John writes in this portion of his letter that when the Christian lives out the perfected love of God that the Christian is witnessing to Jesus.

David continues to walk through this section of 1st John where the Apostle John writes of God's perfected love.  And in this podcast David brings out how God's love lived out on a habitual basis is proof of true salvation.  David also brings out what the phrase "God is love" means.  These are two important principles regarding God's love.

The Apostle John writes of a perfected love, a love that cannot be improved upon.  And in this series about love we first learn that perfected love is from God.

David continues to share the true marks of the true preacher and in this section of John's letter we find that another mark of the true preacher of God will stay true to the Word of God.

The Apostle John writes that there are false preachers and true preachers.  David takes us through this text and brings out the marks of the true preacher.  In this section we find that the true preacher of God is one that will confess the incarnation of Jesus Christ.

John teaches that false teachers are real and that they are many in number.  David takes us through part two of this series on testing the spirits.

The Christian is able to distinguish between the Spirit of God and the spirits of Satan.  David begins a look into the first six verses of 1st John chapter four.

David concludes this series by sharing how God uses Christians to encourage other Christians during the difficult times of life.

David speaks about the blessing of prayer and how God uses prayer to takes us through the difficult times.

David continues to share how God is taking him through this time in his life.  And in this four part series the topic in today's podcast is "The promises of God".

Life can have its troubles and yet the Christian has God to take us through them.  In the first part of this four part series David shares a personal testimony of a difficulty that has come to his life and how God is taking him through it.  

David continues this two part study on the Christian's maturity by looking at the young man stage and the father stage.

Scripture tells us that the Christian is to grow spiritually.  David takes us through this two part series and reveals how the Apostle John describes spiritual growth.

After looking at the dark world in which the prophet Isaiah lived and then after looking at the announcement made of the one that would come, David now concludes this brief study out of Isaiah 8 and 9 with a look at Isaiah's description of the coming Savior, the child to be born.

David continues this look into Isaiah's announcement of the coming Messiah, Jesus.  And as the text now goes into Isaiah 9 we will see that God determines to tell of the coming Messiah during the darkest of times.  

The prophet Isaiah paints a picture of the dark world in which the people of Judah lived.  Yet, it is in this setting that Isaiah will share that a Savior is coming, that a Savior will be born.
