Notes:- There was an intercom system between dads office and the reception. Both black speakers with a grey spacebar type button. one just had and extra one to ring a bell or something.- Some time after meeting Raj I'd meet Shyam and fell in love with that name especially because that was another name for Krishna and moms nickname for me was Kahno (Baby Krishna)__________- 💌 Get a monthly ema...

Notes:Special thanks to cousin Sach for send pics. There was once I got a fish from a picnic or with Miku and I was cutting it up in the little alley between the houses as no meat is allowed in the house. More from Miku:You forgot the rally gums too hahaHide and seek in the store. I could picture it as you described it. Corrugated roof, wooden steps and sacks of stuff we would jump from one floor...

We used to call Niru masi - Nili masi so finding pics for this was hard because they're all saved under Nili. She is the reason I have my name, otherwise I would be called Prashant. She had a couple of patli's that always fascinated me and I think they were used even at my Nani's as chopping boards or to roll dough. Update from Sag:Fun fact I didn't want my nick name to be Rex, that was my strip club alias. Other stories:- Madhu uncle dressed up as Suzy for a fancy dress once that I always wanted to do and that night it was at Minar in Sarit Center (I think) with free paan so I was getting one every few minutes.- Working with Alpha Knits would be my first job. They had all these hoodies from sleeveless on...

There was also a character called Mital (or Meetaaal - as he pronounced it), Amit's cousin. He reminded me of Bobby Deol, really liked the girl I was seeing and did not hide the fact that he was pursuing her. His handshake was one very intentionally tight one and had the biggest biceps in our age group. Links:Dragon's Fury - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYj4papkEGQStreets of Rage - http...

Extra:There was this one song that Sam was desperate to get and we knew it as Wake Me Up by Evanescence but it's really called Bring Me To Life. By then I had 3 main connects - Azaan at Cyber King, the corner shop in Diamon Plaza and Meetal/Deshal at Seemato so I hooked him up stat! Nothing used to bring me more joy than getting someone a song they really wanted ... and also the taste of a nic...

Harshil - The happy-go-lucky one in our crew. Sometimes when I need answers I ask myself what would Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Billy Connolly and HN do? Another funny commentary moment:We finished clubbing a little drunk and HN was opening his front door, around the same time he let one rip. HN cocked his head back with a serious face and asked 'what is he saying?'. Maybe a had to be there moment but I...

Other memories:- We were once shopping around in Westland's and Prasheel got these Smurfs for Sheetal from Macintosh or somewhere but then we were hanging around in Sarit Centre and just loitering. A security guy accused us for stealing from the Sports and knickknack shop downstairs. Told my dad about it and nobody messes with dad so he went gansta on the guard lol.- We once ended up sitting w...
